Does anyone here make anything like these types of videos? What kinds of different equipment do you use? Just a camera and a laptop? A mic? What about a phone?
Also, how do you decide what, where, and when to record things? Do you do a lot of traveling because of it? Do you travel already for other reasons and just do this when you can and on the side?

It doesn't get dark after 11 hours? The snow coverage is the same on all things after non-stop snowing for hours and hours? No car passes by? Weird.

Please, do a recording of glacier with a contact microphone.
Glaciers are fantastically acoustic and you can hear them groan and creak.
