ZEN Today I'm back onboard Air Canada. alone! After my last flight on their 787-9 in Business Class over from Mexico City, there's certainly a lot of room for improvement. I have a 14 hour layover first to contend with at Toronto international airport. My second Air Canada flight will be on their 777-300ER in Business Class. I'm told there should be a number of improvements with their soft product for this routing including some bedding this time! I'll also get to meet the captain and this time I will have no issues filming as Air Canada are aware of this flight. This does make reviewing this impartially a bit difficult as you'll see, service is certainly adapted to account for my presence. However I will say I experienced some of the best cabin crew onboard, a huge contrast to my previous flight. The question remains. will I fly Air Canada again (interestingly awarded North America's best airline. Let's find out. Follow along live to my travel on IG: will. luxurytravel

I have to say, feel lucky you got a response at all, manufactured or not. My experience with other airlines, particularly Delta have not resulted in any kind of apology or compensation. One such instance of be stuck on the tarmac for 3 hours with young children as the cabin gets stuffy and unbearable. Flight attendants who are as rude as they are sloppy, and toilets that have a stink and stickiness that rivals an Indian train loo. Then being singled out with your children to be seated last like you were being showcased for all the dirty looks even though you booked exact seating to avoid problems. Gate and security attendants talking to my children like I kidnapped them and acting like I was about to steal something.
The only response from customer service is a -so what- because they already had thousands of our dollars. An apology flight with people kissing your ass is much better.

This was the absolute perfect unbias take on this. Polite and gracious, without falling for the pulling out all the stops with PR tricks.
howing they can provide better service when they want, but also acknowledging this is mostly extra attention for their PR. He has one horrible experience that was probably worse than normal and one stellar that was better than their normal service.
Everyone else can probably expect a happy medium lol.

I watched your vlog on Delta with the -filth- and I have a flight booked to Florence Italy on Delta through the Amsterdam hub business class this October. I'm also coming back on Delta. I hold a Delta American Express card and so far I've found Delta to be pretty good. I'm bringing cleaning towel packets just in case though. We'll see, won't we? Let me know if you want a report.

Last time my flight with Air Canada on the 787 was wonderful I even got a upgrade to business class cause there's water leaking on my original seat, still don't get why your flight to Canada is treated that terrible! You're flight back to London does seem to be comfortable hope you forgive the crew on the 787. As they said that's - not their style- and I do agree with that!

Hmmm. I don't know what to make of this. On the one hand, they messed up badly and they knew it so then they wanted to make it right. I'm glad you were given the top treatment. But on the other hand, I'm not so sure that I or any other non-social media influencer would have been treated the same way. The obvious brown-nosing on AC's part was over the top.

The only critique I have about this is that all the people who are bowing and scraping to make this flight a better experience, are not the people who caused the issue in the first place. Personally, I would have preferred to, have the crew of the shit flight apologize in person, just to make them feel as humiliated as possible.

Yeesh, everyone cheering on Air canada for the obvious PR stunt of -making it up to you- The first vid solidified by view on air canada. What matters is when they dont know you. Who cares what happens when they are trying to save face? lol not me.

Air Canada is the worst airline I've flown on. Being Canadian I've had lots of AC flights, all have been incredibility awful. Flown on at least 20 other airlines through the years (1977-2008. Singapore Airlines the best. Don't fly much nowadays.

The fact the service changed a lot from a flight departing from Latin America vs the one from Canada to London tells me a lot about the double standard of the airline basically they see passengers differently depending from the come from. Awful

This is where commercial interests can be hurt, so the airline takes action. Without them knowing what they know now, it would be as bad as the first time. It is not about service, just about money and marketing. Sad.
