Houston is the largest city in Texas. Houston metro area is the 6th largest in the US. In this video we'll take a look at what Houston has to offer and what makes it such a popular place and one the the fastest growing metro areas in America! Unknown: I lived to the Metro Houston area for about 6 years due to working in the Energy Industry. Its a good city depending on how much you want to spend on rent. Houston is still somewhat segregated by race and Ethnicity. I was pretty surprised by people's attitudes towards diversity and inclusion. I lived South of the city and on mulitple occasions I saw Confedefate flags flying in people's yards.

I'm originally from Ohio but moved to Houston when I was a child. I've been here 42 years, great city, great vibe! I've only experienced 3 hurricanes since 1980. We also don't get the tornadoes like the Dallas/panhandle part of the state does. Flooding is the main concern, if you are contemplating relocating, make sure you have a Realtor who knows the area well so they can guide you with the FEMA flood zone areas. If a house is gorgeous but a lower than expected asking price, most likely was flooded previously. Regarding the humidity/heat, you get used to it. The bonus to high humidity, it keeps you looking younger longer, keeps your skin moist and not dried out, I've rarely used facial moisturizers over the years. My a/c system has a humidity control, so no stickiness indoors. I don't do many outdoor activities in June-August unless it involves water to stay cool or in the evening hours.

i moved to Houston from a small Texas town. yes it's diverse, yes the food is good, yes there do be attractions and stuff but what there don't be is sidewalks. no sidewalks, or sometimes you get sidewalks that lead to nowhere. where are the sidewalks? u wanna walk around Houston, forget about it, you about to HIKE around Houston because there ain't no dadgum sidewalks!

Indeed San Antonio would be good too, the Riverwalk New Braunfels. Or maybe even some individual cool locations, like secluded Supai village by Grand Canyon where even uspc have to go on mules, or 3 Fingers Outlook by Seattle, or Arizona and Utah locations, that is something different then we could see in Europe. Hopefully you'll get to do more

If you love your freedom, your rights, and don't want to be disrespected everyday, DO NOT COME HERE! everything looks good and nice on video and pictures, but if your the wrong color? YOU WILL BE TREATED AS LESS, AND THEY CALL THE COPS ON YOU! AAAAND the cops will do their best not to take your side even if you are correct. DO NOT COME HERE!

I LOVED the video, I think they covered mainly all of the major neighborhoods. Unfortunately I wished they also showcased Montrose, Upper Kirby and Memorial City - some of my favorite and some of the MOST dynamic neighborhoods in H-town! Aside from those, good video!

It's a very boring and spread out city. Humid and hot AF. No world class entertainment or attractions and 50 minute drive anywhere if you live in the suburbs. Cheap houses but a cheap quality of life as well

As a fellow Houstonian, If you want people to know and see good things about Houston, why the hell would you show a gun casing on the ground! then want to say bang bang? what the hell man!
