Hoosier National Forest in 4K - Camping, Hiking, Wilderness Travel David: I love how you guys take the time to capture and describe all the things I find so appealing about being out in the winter time. The beech leaves hanging on for dear life in the winter wind. The ice droplets that cling to the trunk of a tree after the water that surrounded it has receded. Or just the plain old peace and quiet that one usually encounters in the woods in the winter. Not everyone appreciates how freezing your ass off in a shelter or tent can make you feel -warm and fuzzy- on the inside. Thanks so much Bryan, Andrew and Robby! And thank you too, Thomas Sinard for your role in making this all happen.

So I have did a few of these backpacking trips and will be setting goals to hike in most lf these places you guys hike. Ive learned alot from your videos. Love leatning what we can and cant eat out there. Id love to backpack with you all one day. I hardly can find anyone in my area that enjoys backpacking. And im not looking to hike with large groups. Not a beginner but just enjoy my trips out to nature. I also appreciate your respect for the forest.

Another great vid, guys!
Hey Bryan. Try using one of the solar shields that are made for the inside of a car windshield. They are foam with Mylar on both sides. They are fantastic as a liner for a hammock and they are only a buck at the dollar store. They reflect your body heat back to you. It will be the best $1. 00 you ever spent on camping gear.

I've hiked the Sycamore trail at Deam dozens of times, but learned several new things in watching your video. So many hiking videos are pretty much -Hey, look at me. I'm hiking in the woods. - You guys are spending time showing and explaining flora and fauna. Love it. And a nice plug for the Trojan Horse as well! ;) Keep up the good work!

Just a little tip: If you do winter hiking and use gas, look for a cooker that allows to place the cartridge upside-down, so you can get it going even if the gas is all liquid. I use the kovea spider, nice and small, connects to those cartridges you use via a flexible pipe, so the cartridge is placeable the way you want.

I'm a new sub watching your videos from Mexico. amazing job you're all doing, the conversations you have while hiking makes me feel part of the experience. thank you all for showing us the beautiful things out in the world. I might never be able to visit those places but I'm surely learning very much- xoxox

Thank you. I was ill, today, and felt like something from nature that I could just let run, and fall asleep from the meds. But it was educational and inspiring, even motivating. I will have to find another way to fall asleep, but perhaps. just perhaps. I'll dream of a walk on a trail with good friends. Bless.

Hey! Everyone-s comments are so perfect and fitting. I-ve watched a few videos, but I was super excited when I found this particular video. I-m moving to Indiana in the winter/spring and now that I-ve seen your video I-m ecstatic to visit Hoosier National Park! Hope to see you guys there sometime!

I really love your video's. I watch a lot of hiking video's, yours are much more interesting because you share more of the overall experiece of being outdoors not just the hike. Plus with the great production it's like watching an outdoor documentary. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a Hoosier and I don't get there enough! I've backpacked the Deam twice, yet I've backpacked in Kentucky more times than I can count. I'll be doing some kayak camping on Lake Monroe along the Deam Wilderness this year. Keep the adventures coming.
