Chef-s Table Food Delivery: - 100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here: -Market Food Experience: During this time in the world, among the many industries affected, have been the entire tourism sector. And without any tourists, tour companies offering tours have had to come up with new ideas and ways to earn a living to support staff and community. #withme #ThaiFood #Bangkok I-ve known Simon from for many years, and he messaged me saying they started doing market meal experiences, delivery to your house in Bangkok, by tuk tuk. I thought it was a pretty cool idea, and great way to support the community. Additionally, for every meal bought, they also donate a meal in the community. I thought it would be great to support this project and I personally ordered a meal for 2, plus some extras. My total price came to 1, 800 THB for everything. I had no idea Simon was going to show up in the tuk tuk as well! Since the food and experience all came from Bangkok-s central flower market, meal came decorated with plenty of flowers, all packed into a pinto. Rice at the bottom, and chicken pumpkin massaman curry, sweet chicken salad, and pad cha style barramundi. The meal kit also included a mocktail drink, snacks like kaprao samosas, and a range of Thai desserts. Thai meal was great, and some of it was sourced from vendors at the market while other dishes were cooked by staff. I thought it was a great meal, and could be fun for an entire family. Mark you know I love your videos and comment often. I have a genuine question that I hope you can address at some point- do you ever wonder where the meat was sourced from or how it was cleaned and cooked? Seeing that first lady vendor scratching her armpit makes me wonder if people are even less careful with hygiene and cross-contamination practices now and just complacent with wearing masks, staying 6 feet away and thinking that's enough, everything is good. There doesn't seem to be much oversight or inspection from the health department and since many people are now working in isolation, I wonder if they are as careful and vigilant with sanitizing etc. as they need to be. The vendors seem like they are working in tight spots and just like you didn't seem to enjoy your street-food experience recently (it appeared that the vibe is not back yet, I wonder if these vendors are properly following all the food handling procedures to prevent contamination of not corona, but other food-related viruses also, like salmonella, e-coli etc. I will continue to support your work. Thanks for amazing videos.

I want to see more of your videos staying safe at home and experience different local things. It just makes me feel more blessed and exciting even just staying home. So later on even after the pandemic, I hope people would value more the time spending at home with family. Thanks Mark for this amazing video anyway

Everything looks delicious. If I were an influencer I'd be so mad at my family for the background talking and sounds. I'd tell them to go inside or be quiet, but thankfully Mark is so chill and easy-going and isn't bothered - such a great attitude!

Thanks Mark for sharing our -Meal From The Market- home dining experience - delivered by tuk tuk. It means a lot to us during these challenging times when we have had to reinvent The Market Experience in the absence of tourism.

I saw your friend Jeffrey on the news yesterday! Unfortunately they looted his restaurant on Santa Monica blvd. He opened the next day despite the damage and I plan on going to support him! Stay safe!
