since you asked, the rules should be get rid of the absurd mask rules. traditionally you avoid germs by keeping personal space around strangers and known sick people, wash hands, take showers, eat healthy, get sun, have strong immune systems. when you get sick, stay home in bed and eat soup and such. rolls eyes

Fort Wilderness in January pool rules - no mask required inside the gated pool area. You need a mask to go to the snack bar or restrooms. The chairs and loungers are spaced out for social distancing and they ask you don't move them. Tip your chairs forward when you leave and they will come sanitize them.

Question about Studios and Laundry -- the answer is -- no, studios do not have laundry machines.
However - using the laundry rooms is free for those staying on points at DVC (and actually I found the laundry to be generally free specifically at Bay Lake Tower.

We have been twice to WDW during the pandemic and we stayed at 2 different Disney resorts, the pool rules were if you were in the pool or on a lounge chair, you could have your mask off. You only had to wear a mask when you were entering and leaving the pool area.

The blue paint on the porch is a Gullah tradition in the south. They believed it keeps evil spirits from entering your house. Its called haunt blue. You see it in a lot of southern homes but also Florida homes too.

I was there in December and stayed at pop. Literally no one was wearing a mask in the pool area, regardless if they were in the pool or not. So Im curious to see if the new mask rule will affect the pool areas.

You definitely should look into a resale DVC contract. You would have had it paid off just with the cash used on your last few staycations.
