Is Atlanta a Friendly City & 10 Other Travel Questions - Wolters World
video description
Let's not kid ourselves, these cities are crime-infested shitholes that prey upon travelers and tourists.
Yes, they have great spots and wonderful sights. Best advice is keep your kids very close and grow some eyes in the back of your head. School of fish ideology is best.

I visited Atlanta once. Out of all the major cities I visited outside of Texas, it reminds me the most of my own hometown, Houston. The traffic and the way people drive are quite similar. Also, way too many people have moved into town. It's a major city with some things to do, but I wouldn't consider it a big vacation destination. Two days or less is good enough.

My sister worked at one of the nicest malls in Buckhead and most of the employees were afraid to walk to their cars after closing without being in a rather large group. The parking lot at her favorite French restaurant was even dangerous. She was robbed on MARTA going to the airport. She moved in November because she no longer felt safe.

I use a travel insurance consolidator for my travel insurance such as InsureMyTrip or SquareMouth. I like to separate my airline, tour company, etc. for the insurance in the event that the company in which I booked my trip goes belly up. Think Thomas Cook.

Hey, if you travel to Germany again, you have to come to Braunschweig (Brunswick) and see the Wolters brewery! I saw your name and had to think about this immediatly, because its my favourite regional beer, so come to Germany and try it!

I would agree. We were in Atlanta over Thanksgiving and they had their Christmas festival going on. Everyone was super nice and we even had locals let us know where some areas we might want to avoid and some of the hidden gems!

We were in Atlanta the weekend before Christmas to go to the Christkindlmarket. We stayed a block away from the Olympic park. It was easy to get around and ppl were nice.
I always enjoy seeing site in and around Atlanta.

Everyone in Atlanta was nice to me when I was last there. Only rude person was the guy on border control. But I suppose it was his job to be rude? Otherwise, I agree with Mark. A friendly place from my perspective.
