The most well-traveled people I have known are academics--adjuncts, lecturers, instructors, grad students, professors. Part of that is that the job often necessitates travel for research. Part of that is that there are numerous breaks. When I was a university professor, I had three months summer break. 1 month winter. 1 week Fall. 1 week Spring. Yes, part of that time, I was working. But I was not chained to a site. So, I could take the winter to spend in Morocco and edit my friend's prize-winning manuscript in a Medieval City. One law prof friends pointed this irony out: We have a lot of free time. to think about how little money we make. So the thing that any academic learns to do is really make your travel dollars count.

This is great, I'm so glad you shared it. I have been watching Mark for a few years and always look up his videos on places I want to go, while researching. He (and his fam) provide excellent input to making decisions on where to go, what to see or avoid, and do or don't do. it's always entertaining to learn what he has to share.

Do you try to visit as many country asp? Love to watch your video but i wish you could tell little more about the diffrent price. Exempel how much fore one beer, or how much fore a normal meal i know it's impossible to tell about everything. Thx you fore share

Looking back its better to collect memorys than stuff. You go to a drift shop and all you see now is staff that nobody wants and never needed but Advertising told us you must have it.
Experience are much better.
