I've been there! But was about 3yrs ago.
Amazing views that pictures (or video) don't do justice, but I'd agree that a day trip from Florence is sufficient.
Wouldn't mind going back though to get a passport stamp in my new passport. I wonder if the stamp is still 5?
With the fog and overcast skies, it reminded me of Castlevania game series. :)

I live not that far away from this place and I'd totally confirm that San Marino is 100% awesomeness.
I had the luck to visit the place in December (2012) and, in that day, the whole view was a sea of fog, you could only see some mountains around the place.
Simply an incredible view that, I guess, is pretty rare to encounter.

We are travelling this year from Bologna to Rimini by train. Is it better/cheaper to buy train tickets online or just at the train station itself?
4 years since I've been in Italy. We can't wait! Thanks for your videos, they are great!

Here's a question: given its small size, is San Marino bikable at all?
In fact, I'd like to hear a lot more about where you can, and can't, use your bicycle effectively. (For example, Venice is clearly out of the question)

I love San Marino, amazing little state rich in history; don't know if it's entirely accurate but they say it's the oldest constitutional republic in the world.
