I like all your videos that you do. However I think this is too generalized and not really specific. As I believe they are mainland chinese. Which is different from the people of Hong Kong. I believe that Hong Kong people have different love and hates in studying in America or Canada compared to the mainland chinese. I also may be wrong. Something to elaborate more on. As you have been to Beijing, have you gone to Hong Kong to see the difference in the culture. I have been fortunate enough to spend time in both places and work in both places. I know there is a difference in the culture of both worlds.
Ironically I am a chinese that would be called mixed as I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Canada. I was fortunate enough to retain my british citizenship, my chinese citizenship, and my Canadian Citizenship. Kept all the good things about my heritage, adopted the british one, and the Canadian one. So I'm kind of a mixed bag as you can see.
Theres my 1 penny worth. Wait we got rid of our penny! :)

I was there this summer as well: ) New videos from lots of cool places in Europe. The plan is to upload all of the videos I made in China first then the European videos are back. I have about 15 more videos from China and about 40 from Europe. and I am heading back to Germany in November so lots of new European videos for the rest of the year: ) (and Mexico)

there will be a blog on this to help those that do not speak Chinese. the basics for you are loves: clean air and atmosphere, the friendly professors and people, hates are the Chinese food and language issues. but blog is getting worked on don't worry

I understand it may be difficult or time-consuming to put in subtitles for everything said, but maybe you could just include a summary of each point, like your other Things you will love/hate videos?

China was fun. Made about 50 videos so will be uploading all kinds of Chinese videos for a few more weeks, then I have a bunch of new Europe and US travel videos. hope all is well!
