My dad and I spent the night at the hotel and also did some ghost hunting to see if it was haunted. Check it out and

This is wicked cool! Clown Motel? It's full of clowns! Creepy clowns, little clowns, clowns that have blood spatter on them, you know the best kind of clowns!
Want to shock/scare me? This place is going to have to step it up. Grew up in Boston, where there are still many 350+ year old homes. Spent a year living in Salem, MA. Yeah, Tonopah, I got that. LOL Besides, I summer near a place Steven King loves. talk about scary!
Should Pops be using that thing? He just got abducted by aliens! LOL

We stayed there about 5 years ago. The creepy paintings in the room are new, those weren't there before, just some more innocent clown paintings like Red Skelton. As for the cemetery, it's very interesting but more sad than scary. A picture of the hardships of miners' lives. check it out in the daytime. As for eating at the brewery, definitely agree. great place to eat. Also, while in Tonopah, visit the Tonopah Historic Mining Park. (Love you guys, Josh and Pops. keep traveling)

What a fun video, I have stayed at both the Clown Motel and The Mizpah and I would say if anything, The Mizpah has that more haunted feel. I took my 15 year old daughter on an adventure to The Clown Motel and we too just had fun with being there. I will say I have never ever left a set of keys on the outside of a hotel room and I did that there over night lol, kind of strange like the hat deal!

Ha ha - this is great! I'm closer in age to Pops, so I grew up when clowns were NOT scary! I hate modern horror, so never saw any of the scary clown movies. I like the old classic horror movies like Hitchcock- I really love Psycho. And the old classic Universal Monster movies. But I can NOT watch modern gory bloody movies at all, so not scared of clowns LOL

Oh Yay! I was waiting for your review on this Motel! We stopped by a couple years back on our first trip to Death Valley, we didn't stay so really was excited to see the inside! You guys always do a great job really giving the vibes and elements of places. Cheers to more adventures Thanks for taking us all along

i love tonopah! it's such a unique little town. we always stop by when we're passing through and i'm fully convinced i picked up a ghost from the cemetery. also, i'm a big horror fan and my fave horror franchise is probably Creep - i also really like Nightmare on Elm Street if we're just talking the classics.

I used to have nightmares about clowns as a kid so clowns are not my thing. My brother had one as a kid that hed always manage to leave in my room making it hard for me to sleep as a preschooler. Im not afraid of them. They are just not my thing. Very whimsical place.

I loved this! When I visited Tonopah they were actually filming the Clown Motel movie so we weren't even able to enter the parking lot but it was really cool to watch all the actors in action! lol I definitely want to go back and stay a night though!

I watch so many destination ghost programs. Ive seen this hotel over the years and just saw it again in a different show. Nice to see average people visiting. Now I know I can go and not bring anything home with me

My grandma lived in tonapah when I was little before moving to Simi valley. We would go a couple times a year and I always wanted to go to the clown motel but we never visited because that was grandma time

What was scary is that there was no smoke alarm on the bracket above the door in your room. I noticed that as you exited the room. Hopefully there was one somewhere else in the room thank you for your videos

Josh. very cool and hilarious! And, you're right. the Tonopah Brewing Company serves up some great BBQ! I stop there on my way from Reno to Las Vegas all the time! Thanks for a fun-to-watch video! Scott

Maybe not a traditional horror film, but Duel scared me to death as a kid, because it was realistically possible. My brother said the same about Midnight Express
As always, love your style and content

I would stay there. honestly there are humans scarier than clowns. clowns dont scare me. obviously. Nothing scary for me. evil people with regular kind faces are the scary ones

1980 was the best year for horror films. The Shining, The Changeling and The Fog all came out in 1980. Another great film Ghost Story came out in 1981.

I noticed that when Josh was trying out his EMF device, the device went Bezerk when Josh pointed the device at his father. Pops. are you a Ghost?

I spent a week in Tonopah one night. Good town to pass through. I passed on the Clown Motel. Not cause it was scary, but because it was a dump.
