Not being able to do pullups for reps can make you feel like you-re not fit, regardless of how much time you've spent working out. The pullup is a staple exercise for gauging how fit someone is. Being able to do pullups for reps says something major about you - you are strong for your size. This is also known as relative strength. There are two reasons for this. One is that your bodyweight directly affects your ability to perform the exercises. Two is that you have the strength to effectively move your body. In this video, we'll cover a few key strategies to get you from zero to ten pulls-ups fast! Not only will you be able to do more pullups, but you'll also see significant improvements in your back development

For me, I simply stuck with doing supinated grip (chin ups) since it's much easer, and after about 8-9 weeks of practice, my back has gotten much stronger and am now able to do about 7-8 chin ups with good form! After this route Im practicing next with neutral grip, and once Im able to do more than 8-10, I'm going to pronated, main pull up grips. With this personal route of mine is to prepare and strengthen my back well with different movements so once doing pronated, it would hopefully be much easier to do as my back is stronger

I use most of these techniques. I think I'm going to start doing weighted. Also, just a suggestion: What about the mixed grip? - One hand pronated, the other suppinated. I do this as well, and not only do I feel the back more, I seem to be stronger with this grip scheme. It's a great grip in my opinion.

That yellow character suits me the best. But I can do pull ups with my body weight. It's not about less boby weight gains pull ups it's about strengthening your forehand, biceps, tri, and you back. The red guys are noob, less body weight more pull ups -------

Apart from the banded pull-ups This simply isn-t accurate, the best exercise for pull-up gains is a kneeling cable pull down and of course the hold at the top and a slow eccentric

Most people in the gym are either kipping or doing partial reps. The video doesn-t say anything about the most important pull up requirement. Good form with full extension

Overall people should do calisthenics ( -pull ups push ups and dips- ) you do those three and I guarantee you will gain a lot of natural body strength
