Are You a True Hardgainer? Frank: I used to train and go to the gym five times a week. I would gain weight if I ate around 3500kcal every day. However when I began student heavyweight rowing. Training 8 times a week for rowing instead of only weightlifting and now I need to eat around 5000kcal, however I lost a lot of muscle and it is most definitely because I need to consume more. It's just difficult eating a lot when you're a student, due to time constraints and the lack of money. I'm now one of the lightest in my team only weighing 180 pounds. Their average weight is around 205. Weirdly though when it comes to raw strength and cardiovascular endurance I'm not one the worst performers in the team.

Hey man can I just get your view on something real quick? I'm a skinny guy and I weigh myself every morning as you recommended, I was eating 3500kcal every day and my weight was pretty much the same every day for like 2 weeks. It fluctuated between 203 and 203. 4. I have gone up to 4000kcal and now my weight fluctuates between 203 and like 210, making it impossible for me to keep track on my actual weight. Why could this be? Thanks in advance

Great, accurate video. I'm a hard gainer and have been working out for years. Knowing your body and calculating calories is so important. My biggest tip is ensuring you never miss a meal and to research calorie dense foods to add to your diet
