Serendipitous
Hitting California in December and Ive been trying to shed some lbs and hopefully grow a sixpack before I go for the first time since I was like eleven lmao. Started off at 200 lbs, 20% bodyfat, been trying to eat around 1600-1500 cals a day while continuing to weight lift 5-6 days a week. Its been tough to meal prep, Ill admit, and Ive definitely had some chest meals along the way, but I have faith that Ill be able to do it as long as I keep getting more and more consistent with my nutrition as the weeks go by. My tips to anybody trying to do anything similar is by eating oats in the morning (150 cals per serving, keeps you full for long, and gives you much needed carbs for excercise) two protein shakes a day (make them with water to minimize calories, one during the morning and one after a workout is only 400 cals for 60g of protein added to your daily diet) and eating lots of greens. Also, hot sauce and salsas are your best friends, most pack on flavor with a very negligible amount of calories. I also find preworkout to be a savior, especially on days after work where I just feel ready to go home and tuck myself to sleep immediately lol.
Anyways, to anybody else out there grinding to lose bodyfat, I believe in you! I used to focus on getting as strong as possible and telling myself I would cut afterwards, but after doing that for so long and then falling out of the gym after periods of heavy lifting, all I ended up doing was losing the strength I gained and becoming even more skinny fat. My advice to anybody around 17-20% bodyfat, focus on losing the extra lbs, then build back better with a lean bulk.

Without following any weight loss program or fat burning program I started to try and lose fat while building muscle.
I started at 79. 3 KG, I started working out 5 times a week, each session with 30 minutes of stamina exercises and 60 minutes of muscle exercises, the first 3 times were really tough and I had muscle aches all over and started at benching 25 KG and I am now at 60 KG.
I did not change my eating habits what so ever and I am now at 72. 6 KG, It's been 3 weeks now entering the 4th week and I feel fantastic.
I have no idea about the science behind metabolic age but it was scaled at 19 even though I am 34 years old.
Just by doing this I did not just lose weight, I managed to quit smoking and it was made so easy when previous attempts made it beyond difficult and very stressful, I went from being extremely tired and falling asleep on the couch after a work day to having so much energy left I almost feel like I have to work out every day now just to make sure I sleep well during the night.
I am not arguing against any program by saying this because I am certain there is a huge amount of science behind fat loss and muscle gain, however, I do think that one must find their own way to ensure they are also happy losing the weight and gaining the muscle so it's not overly stressful ultimately causing you to be unhappy.

im moving back home in 5 weeks and havent seen my friends in over a year. put on 20kgs since then so this video is what i needed right now. already changed my diet and increased my physical activity but this gives me a little more direction in the journey. its just four weeks, then hopefully the healthy habits just start to stick without it feeling so much like a diet but a new way of life. love your vids mate, appreciate your work.

I am 6'3 weighting at 208 pounds, and i eat less than 2000 calories a day no matter what i cannot eat more than that because i rarely get hungry. I always end up staying the same weight, but since i started working out the last 90 days 4 days a week, i seen changes in my tummy fat dropping, should i be eating more or is it okay to stay under 2K and work out, i heard that loses about a pound a week?

I don't agree with eating what you want. Chicken is not healthier than samon, but people will learn chicken all cause they like it. Food is it suppose to be pleasure, even the monks agree. I don't eat food cause it's good I eat it cause it's healthy.

Dont cut foods that you enjoy is what Ive learned. Drastically going from foods you love to cutting everything out and eating completely healthy isnt sustainable. As long as youre in a caloric deficit you should be good to go.

I am thin allover my body. My belly is the only area where I have fat. My arms and legs are very thin and I'm afraid if I started less eating then my arms will get even thinner, what should I do?
