That's the point of the OPM workout. It was never about the number of reps you do. It was always about the fact that he did it EVERY day, no matter how much it hurt, how much his body creaked or popped or cracked. He did it EVERY day, even as his body was breaking down. He even says it is the most important thing about the workout.
Because the human body has limits. And at least in anime, those limits can be broken. The OPM workout didn't make him ultra strong little by little over time just by doing this workout. He -broke- his -limiter- and unlocked limitless power all at once.

Life is killing your Gains, but the will rebirths.
Every methodology to its extreme can stop muscle regeneration, this I concluded by trial and error.
Trial and error is inevitable! Listen to your body-s response most of all, exercises work differently for each individual! For me for example; doing a little variety for abs, has allowed my abs to show and get strong. But for others, it-ll be a different regenerative process of the muscles.
Don-t take the slogan too serious nor too lightly. Even if your gains dies, your will doesn-t!

I think anyone who considers the one punch man a good workout didn't even listen to him, he literally stated in the anime -I kept going, even after my arms made weird cracking noises-. He was destroying his body on purpose in an uneducated attempt at becoming strong, and instead almost killed himself and thus broke his own biological limits.
The workout is horrible for a lot of reasons, but it's not the workout that made him so strong, it's the pain it caused him.

On exercises or challenges like this, I would take them on a week to week basis. First week you do the full amount, second week you try and double it, third week triple, etc. He's not against the challenge or work outs as a whole, it's the fact that most people don't try to move beyond the initial 100.

Hey Jeff, we all know people or colleagues who live and die on supplements. All i take is BCAA's and i feel like i get everything else in my diet. If your training in the gym do you really need protein powder, Creatine, BCAA's, pre workout, pump mix and can taking too much be killing your gains?

I think The point of the one punch man complex of a simple consistent workout leading to a hyper powered superhero is the idea that truly anyone can be the hero of their own story if they apply themselves to their physical capacities and moral strength on a consistent, rigorous basis.

You just don't underatand OPM.
Remember: -a banana in the morning is fine. -
Someone needs to ACTUALLY do this workout including the banana and the air conditioning for 3 years.
That's the idea. every single day for 3 years, if you do this, you WILL have Saitima's powers.

What a world we're living in, rather then following professional workouts online. people are blinding following a fictional anime workout which wasn't even designed for real people, people are getting dumber day by day I guess the prediction is becoming real

Wait, I don't understand how people use the term -gain- when it comes to muscles, does killing your gains means: Not making your muscles stronger than before. Or: Not making you look Mesomorph/Ectomorph? Because I want to be strong without looking big.
