Muscle Building Diet Mistake (EAT BIG - GET BIG) traviss: Jeff I know everyone likes to say don't focus on the number on the scale but I have a hard time doing that as I'm 370 pounds and no matter how we look at it that is incredibly over weight. I try cardio and it works for a little while but doesn't really get the scale moving. So I focus on lifting and that just makes me gain weight. What should I do? I hate being over weight I know it's my fault and it won't come off over night but I really want to get down to as close to 200 pounds as possible. My dream was to join the military and I couldn't do that because I was so far gone they wouldn't even work with me. Even tho at the time I could do all the pt requirements. I was just over 100 pounds over weight.

This is actually similar to what I did. When I was in elementary school from 1-3 grade every day I would get a soft pretzel and ice cream or a cookie and ice cream. 4th grade I realized that I was over weight I was worried I would be hungry if I didn-t get the ice cream and pretzel. So slowly, I reduced it to just the pretzel and ice cream every few days. Then just the pretzel every day, then more fruit and some 2 packs of goldfish then 1, then none and I got fruit every day. That day on I started my track of becoming fit. I want to let people out there to know it doesn-t matter if you-re overweight now if you want to lose weight you can do it just keep pushing don-t let people discourage you

The greatest change in my life in both fitness and mental health was getting off alcohol. I realize yes, common sense but the quickness I saw fat melt off and my gains start exlpoding was so motivating to begin a true fitness lifestyle. Not only that but the quality and productivity of my day to day life was like living in a cave then coming out into the world for the first time. If anything is holding you back from getting off the booze please take my word for it and start with one week. If you can get through a month the change in your life will make you never want to go back.

It's kind of interesting, simplifying my diet. I look in the pantry, or the grocery story, and most of it is just trash (I live with other people. I resent the fact that the grocery story is selling so much pure slow poison, and that people around here are buying it, especially because I want to eat it sometimes. It's just a disease, and I'd love it if we didn't celebrate events with diabetes inducement, basically. What is the Christmas season if not a time to just go ham on fudge and the like? I'm gett'n mad!

Yes, doctors and nutritionists are saying that bowel health is VERY important. Its linked to everything, even our brains. So, fibre is very important. True. Better foods, better health and mood, better results. I. have friends in US and they are large. Great people, but large in a bad way. They have said to me that their body cant handle vegetables. i thought that was just ridiculous, but then i hear you say about the stomach cant do fibre at first, when eating better. Wow! So metabolic damage, huh.

What would be okay to eat for lunch? I am a teacher and so far haven't found anything I can have prepared before hand and eat in 25 minutes. At the moment I eat 2 ham turkey and chicken sandwiches with spinach and cheese. I add a small amount of mayo and mustard for flavor. I eat sun chips with my sandwiches and drink water. I am a teacher and have 25 minutes for lunch. I eat peanuts for snacking throughout. Any suggestions for a hard gainer for my lunch?

-Want to drop 5 pounds, 20 pounds or even 60 pounds if not more all without starving yourself --WeightLose. Fitness-- or counting calories? This is entirely possible. I'd been doubtful at first, but when I began The Venus Factor, I was impressed at the results. The system is so easy to grasp and put to work in your life. I am not going to reveal to you how much I lost, but I wanted to share the information for anyone else planning to slim down. -

I'm 5'8- tall, and about 120 pounds. Im trying to comsume more healthy calories to put on muscle, but my stomach is having a hard time. It doesnt feel natural for me to eat this much food. Is this feeling normal? I want to eat enough calories, but im feeling kinda sick. Im wondering if i should start out with a slow calorie increase at first, and then build up from there? Oh and im 38 years old if that makes any difference.

I-m at the point where I can-t wait for the almond milk oatmeal banana combo ever morning.
But yes a great point is that if one is use to all this refined sugars your tastes buds find oatmeal and banana bland. Once you-ve rest yourself, you find enjoying the sweetness of a banana among other foods

Recently got into this guy's videos. I like him. Positive guy and he is nice to give so much away for free. I like that he has mixed in the nutrition. I've seen so many videos about exercise and weight training just focusing on lifting or doing cardio. Much better with this holistic approach.
