What! Word takes 8 seconds to load on M1? What an injustice!
In all seriousness, are people complaining about 8 seconds to load a programme? Are we, as a society, unable to not realise how fast that is?
I find this sort of complaint amazingly untethered from reality. I think the benchmarks people do with percentages instead of actual numbers are contributing to this.
-PS5 loads game X 20% faster than XSX! - Actual numbers: 9. 6s vs 12s. Basically indistinguishable unless you put them side by side.

Personally I prefer PCs but my wife just bought a Mac and it only took a week to get it with all the bells and whistles. That's not good for PC users and inevitably people are just going to say screw it: why should I have to deal with shortages, scalpers and inflated prices when I can get a Mac for what are now competitive prices.

Keith. tisk. tisk. an Apple M1 for DaVinci Resolve lol. just update to an RTX laptop which is cheaper or the same cost. DaVinci Resolve is GPU Accelerated, and you know will take advantage of CUDA/nvenc. Maybe you should do a benchmark review comparing rendering time. see if the M1 wow factor sticks.

Zeodawn on pc and ps4 break but I run it on pc to projector using a Xbox elite 2 controller and it's 180p at 120hz in her. I'm not complaining. Ps it was good on ps4 too but a 8 hour session required a dangling cable to controller that needed chargeing 2 times.

Do you monsters not know that Taco Bell WAS a knock-off. It's a classic story of a business man screwing over the little guy. On a side note, i always thought of Taco Bell lovers as monsters even before i learned of it's history.

5900 X was where and caught up and in alot of cases exceeded intel in gameing, the 5800x wasn't. So they hit the right point for a gamer like me who was a i7 guy till intell took away hyperthreading.

Is it just me or did Alaina say -Moin Moin- at 1: 08? Hope she did because that would be amazing if -Moin Moin- made it from the north of Germany to PCWorld. To put it simple, it means -Hello-.

Gordon is the real life definition of OK Boomer when it comes to Apple products. I am not an Apple fanboy. I have Ryzen PC and a Mac Mini M1. I just think the M1 is faster/quieter than my PC.
