I installed KVM/QEMU MacOS on my machine. Let's just say things did not go well (everything in Linux is painful). I modified the screen resolution (to the wrong values of course) using EFI/Clover/config.plist. When I tried to go back and reconfig the initial values the file wouldn't open inside of text edit (of course it wouldn't).
So after searching for almost a day trying to find a solution to my problem I decided to erase the vm hard disk and reinstall MacOS. Well this didn't work either (of course not). Apparently the changes I made were written to the system files never to be altered again.
Now I am simply disgusted and want to remove this flaming hot POS from my machine and recover the wasted disk space (100G on a 1T drive allocated to the VM because I was really expecting to use it). Naturally given the negative experience that I am already having with this process I am cautious not to compound my pain and dig an even deeper hole for myself.
Could you be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

Please note that closing the session and starting it again should be enough after adding $USER to libvirt and libvirt-qemu groups.
Also, you may want to
-sudo apt install --no-install-recommends qemu-kvm libvirt-clients libvirt-daemon-system bridge-utils libguestfs-tools-
if you want to avoid installing extra packages you won't actually be using. YMMV.

I added my user to libvirt-qemu rebooted and my HOST OS (Mint) is now broken? Seems like some kind of recovery mode with no UI (which I can still start through startx), no audio, no graphics drivers. Shows some bunch of errors about AppArmor profiles, VM registration services and PCIe bus.

I know this feedback is kinda pointless at this stage but I have to say... I clicked on this video really wanting to know about QEMU but at the end I'm really confused about what this video was actually doing!

Tutorial on how to use Virglrenderer using Virt-Manager would be great. Virglrenderer allows you to use 3D graphics acceleration which means you can run Photoshop, Premiere, 3DS Max, etc. and some 3D games.

-Deebian?- It-s -Debian- as in -deh-bee-in- as in Debra and Ian, the guy who created it and his wife. I-m an intermediate level Linux n00b but why do Linux n00bs always try to make tutorials?
