thank you for the great videos! I wonder about using pixels to define size (as you did in the homepage design chapter) is that the best way? would that transform well when switching between devices (given that there is a lot of variation in screen sizes between different desktops for example)? isn't there a better way to define it using some relative quantity like percentage? I'd love to hear everything you have to say about it. another question, if I may, I tried positioning text in title so it will be positioned in the right bottom corner of the hero image. I found myself adding like 300 px in the padding and the text was -pushed- outside of the blue rectangle that symbolizes the text element. I wonder if that is right and is there a better way to do it. hope I was clear. many Thanks.

Thank you for a good detailed explanation, after watching your video I was able to create my own website from scratch. before now I have no knowledge of how to create a website, but today I can create one. thank you for doing a great job. I need your assistance. in my website, there is a constant price of 5% on all the products I upload to my website. How do I change that, because I have tried editing the product sales price but all to no avail, the 5% still remains constant? your experience to solve this problem will be deeply appreciated. once again thank you very much.

Good afternoon, thank you for this video, great one. I saw an old one last year and I started to make my own website. I can happily say I finally opened my store. I have a question. I did the added a flat rate and free shipping, however I notice from my big sale over 50 and the customer didn't realize that there were two tabs free shipping or flat rate so she was charged the flat rate. Is there something I can do on the backend that will automatically choose free shipping when customer purchases a set amount. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Help At 51:13 the image came out much larger than shown on the video when testing mobile friendly for cell phone, how do I get the image to scale down as yours did? Also at 54:41 after adding the alpine image, that image did not scale down so only part of the image is displayed horizontally and the vertical extends way above and below the text. Please, is there a fix or did I do something I should not have? Thank you in advance. PS up to this point everything is super and easy to follow.

I created my entire website using one of your other tutorials. However, now I-m finding that I really need a -shop- option. To display my inventory and process payments. Can I simply go through the steps you provide in this video to switch everything over? I-d hate to completely mess up my website by making the wrong decision.

Ive got a small problem with my website. on the mainpage the submenu for the shop pops out and its a white block and the letters are black. if i go to any other page the submenu of shop is white. with white letters. but when i do hover over then they light up with my hover colour. so its weird that on the mainpage the changes of the submenu are made but on my other pages they are not

Do you have a video on why you recommend Wordpress over Shopify or Squarespace? I thought I watched one that you did, but I can't find it. I am worried about developing an online store on Wordpress and I'm unable to maintain it because it might be a huge learning curve. Of course I will follow your tutorial, but is WordPress okay to manage without a professional?

I have some -OLD SCHOOL- web site development experience, and it took me a while to get my web site up and running with your help. I have one problem now. When I try to view my website on my phone, it wound even show up, even if I type the entire URL in. My site is up and running, but I will be tweeking it to make it look the way I want it to. Thanks Dan
