Sometimes i just don't fckien get it what is wrong with pc. I'm on GTX 1080 8GB, 16 GB RAM DDR4 Predator HyperX, i7-6700 4GHz, game on HDD (mayby that's the problem) and Windows 10 on SSD and game runs like shit. High? Low? Whatever. After some patch games drops fps when im traveling from 60 to 40 and when i'm fighting. For some reason when fight start fps just go on vacation. I'm on FHD monitor, Temp on CPU is like 50 and on GPU never goes above 70C. I set the system to best gaming performance mode. I set the options in the Nvidia panel according to the guides and it did nothing. And i realise AMD processors work better with Elden Ring. Your video is kinda old now. Game get few patches. Since then game run really bad.
PS: and all of this was without Easy AntiCheat enabled. I turn off this soft cuz i playing offline and game was like 40-50 fps all the time and multiplayer was 40 for some reason.
Same for my friend that use RTX3060 a better graphic than mine GTX 1080.

it's crazy how FromSoft is getting away with making an unoptimized port of the game, but it's widely accepted or atleast ignored because the game itself is actually good.
wish they would make an optimized PC port for once, my PC is above the minimum (the only thing not hitting above recommended is my CPU, but still an good chunk above minimum) and i get drops to 30fps in certain areas (even in doors sometimes) and then an beautiful smooth 60 in some (generally dungeons)
i like the game (frustrating as all hell, but satisfying when you finally down that annoying boss) but damn are the performance issues really hindering my full experience.

When rdr2 came out, it was very well optimised, people with low end computers could still run it at consistent 60fps. This goes for more and more releases as we go backwards in the date.
Nowadays it seems as though Id have to find some open source input on nexusmods to even get started. I have a mid end pc(1650ti 16gigs), I expected to at least be able to run Elden ring at consistent frames on medium.. but no. I get like 27 fps on some bigger open areas when I have everything on low. I dont think my computer is so old as to get shit on by Elden Ring. Optimisation I guess.

Tried everything in this video to the most extreme it could go, checked every single comment and tried all of their advice to no avail, I can't get this game running over 30fps no matter what I do despite more than meeting its hardware requirements. (RTX 3060, i7 9700k, 32GB memory, updated drivers, and a more than adequate power supply and cooling solution) Even tried swapping out my monitor with a 1080p screen I had from a few years back but that changed nothing, stuck at 32 FPS and can't go higher seemingly no matter what I do.

I played my first 60 hours with almost every enemy being invisible. Made the proper tweeks and now zero invisibility issues and I have better FPS. I also went from playing on all low graphic settings to mostly high settings. Screen resolution is absolutely the key factor. I feel like I have super powers now that I can see my enemies, lol.

recommending shadows medium and volumetrics for everyone i think isnt right, for higher end and maybe even medium end, i recommend maximum on both of these, the differences are very noticeable and if you can handle it do the highest option, makes a massive graphics difference, unlike lighting and effects, which change almost nothing

Windowed borderless fixed all my screen tearing issues. I have an older monitor with no gsync/freesync. Also worth noting on a 2070 super I gained roughly 6-8 frames by just turning grass to medium with everything on high expect motion blur and depth of field off (personal preference). I sit at 50-55 pretty much everywhere.

How do you get Elden ring to use more than one core. I constantly have to play at a constant 40 fps and below because elden ring keeps using 100% of 1 core rather than the utilizing all 8. I have a I7-6700 and a RTX 2070 SUPER with 16 gb of memory. There are 8 cores each 2.6 GHZ. Does Anyone have a solution?

So I downloaded elden ring cracked version to try it and I had no problem (I had atleast 70 fps), so then I decided to buy it on steam because I really love it. On the steam version I had it capped at 30 fps and unstable, anyone know why is this happening?

Im running a 2080S and a Ryzen 7 1700x and only getting 40-50fps no matter the resolution. I get the same fps at max/min settings and at 800x600 and 2880x1620. In caves and such, I get a stable 60fps. But anywhere outside, I get a max of 55 with stutters.
