do not -rely- on protonmail's claims! treat it as if it was gmail, or something, from security standpoint. don't get me wrong, they're not bad -themselves-. but it's known that you cannot trust web encryption, since they could deliver an evil encryption script once to one person, once, and never again to anyone else, meaning you have no chance of knowing if it's happened, that evil script could just choose to send all of your mails unencrypted to somewhere, for example, and this is by the web's design, every request COULD be modified if wanted to. so if a government happened to want someone's mail, then they can't order them for the history, but they CAN order them to deliver a specific code to a specific matching person.

I was wondering why its safer to talk in person then online and now i know why the government dosnt want you to speak your mind to everyone at once and i have a theory that thy dont want us to do so because they are afraid that we will het rid of the government and replace it with a for the people type of govenrnment instead of a alphabet soup of different branches changing things with out us saying that we want those changes to take place

While I may not necessarily agree with the idea that free speech and encryption are inseparable. I tend to take issue with the notion of -nothing to hide- itself. Everyone has something to hide. It may or may not be something illegal. It may just be something someone close to him would disapprove of. Someone with a vegan girlfriend might hide the fact that he eats meat.

Please can you do a video on the recent Anti-Encryption bill passed in Australia, it is very frustrating over here since the general public don't really care about it and is barely being covered in the news and basically no protests about it. It is a very scary bill to me as someone studying Cyber Security and should be to the rest of us here in Australia.

A question for those who know about the Minix U1. What are the privacy possibilities with that hardware? It runs Android 5. 1. 1 on top of what i am assuming is a minix3 inner ring but I am not an expert. (Yet. Teach me and others here about your experience with minix3 os or the minix u1.

I often see people relate this to our personal bodies. We have a right to our privacy online as with our bodies. People don't have the right to see us naked without our consent, therefore people don't have the right to see our online content without our consent.

1) What do you think about Disroot? (Email provider) It should be private and safe, too.
2) Thx for the tip on Nextcloud
3) Is there a community group chat on some platform? And if not, would you make one? I think it would be awesome.

The worst thing is for the data to get collected and used against you if you become successful. Because one day you said something weird, or you need more information towards something. That-s ridiculous.
