Excellent. I'd be interested to know which is fastest to refresh. I almost always use #table in power query. I almost never solely use data imported directly to power pivot, so it's always best to have all your queries accessible in one location for others to work with (in my opinion!).

When you use -Enter Data- to create a new table in Power BI you can edit the data without starting over. Click on the gear icon beside Source and that will take you back to the -Enter Data- interface with your data intact. From there you can add, delete, and edit your data.

Would you recommend this method for large datasets that never change? I have about 20 large files (probably a few million rows total) that no longer need to be updated in my PBI model. Thanks for the video! Always looking for ways to optimize.

Is there an easier way to take an existing excel table and copy it as a static table in Power Query? Essentially, pulling the data from a table, but never refreshing it?
