Really like the game! Some weird stuff happens sometimes though (I have a older PC about 10 years when it was -top notch-) and the game runs fine (at least in 2 player) but sometimes in later stages the game just (not always) gets bogged down and gets about 10-15 FPS (which normally stays about 80-90) and I don't know what happens...
Then after 2-3 mins it works again and then it suffers again... it does not happen every time (it's not a max pop thing).
Other then that it's just awesome, I usually play AOE (not the new edition though) and this is far better...
AI's a (medium setting) is a bit hard (sometimes easy win) and sometimes just impossible (even when you think you are so far ahead)... But I guess it's supposed to be like that :-)

I tried out 0.A.D a while back, thought it was awesome, it's very much like Age of Empire, even though, I was really bad at aoe it when I played it as a kid. The only problem was 0.A.D used to slow down over time, to be fair it's still in Alpha and my laptop is quite old. Will try out this one tho!

I just start playing it....and I love it...if any one like old Age of Empire..they are gonna love this game....graphics look great, the game editor work real nice, the art work , everything about this game is great...I love it.

they still have to work on the performance, especially when there's alot of units in 4v4 mode, but for a FOSS game, its insanely good. i wish i could fix the problems with the optimizations myself but im not that good :(

Another awesome open-source game: Dune Legacy it's based on the old Dune games and of course the Dune Books universe. The best 2D RTS ever made! For the best 3D open-source RTS: Machines Wired for War.

My son and I have been playing this for years, he has been monitoring the progress weekly giving me an update. This game is excellent and thanks to the Devs and gfx contributors for all their effort.

They need to make a low resolution 2d type RTSG like Broodwars. Broodwars is hands down the best RTS game to this day. Game play matters, Strategy matters. Pretty pictures and music do not matter.

at 5:18 you talk about idle workers but forget to mention the ' find idle worker' button right of the minimap. I am not sure if that is new in this update, but for me it is new :)

I think you've got a little carried away with comparing it to AAA games. Also in future videos about games you should keep game volume lower, becouse it was a little too loud.

This is the only video game I play currently as an adult! Not perfect but love the community and strategy that will go into being victorious in this A24.
