Fedora 32 Installation and First Look DistroTube Fedora 32 was recently released so I thought I would take it for a quick spin in a virtual machine. I run through the installation and take a brief look at Fedora with the GNOME desktop. - https://fedoramagazine.org/announcing-fedora-32/

Fedora and Gnome are made by pretty much the same people.
It-s pretty much the vanilla gnome distro. Idk why people are surprised by this in every review and I don-t think it-s fair to say -default Gnome is ugly, therefor that-s a flaw of the distro-.
It would be like saying Ubuntu in 2014 was bad because of unity, when it was THE Unity distro. (Btw, I miss the days when Canonical has a vision for Ubuntu)

You didn't start testing this version and went out to say it was complicated, difficult to install stuff, didn't get to see half of the new version, but already said so many wrong and dishonest things lol
Also about the icons, from the new adwaita theme, you said they are ugly, as if it isn't a matter of opinion, as if it's a fact that the icons are ugly, even though it IS a matter of opinion and taste

BTW the new gnome release is actually really good, most of the graphical glitches I have experienced in the last 2 years in gnome have been fixed after this new release. Finally I am using gnome as my primary desktop environment and I am happy. Though the Wayland session still has bugs that in my opinion should have been fixed years ago.

Hey how do you record yourself in these videos? DSLR?
Do you know for some good software to use DSLR remotely on Linux (I'm interested in video remote control).
What I mean is that I can focus on something and start recording using this software remotely on my camera, which is connected via USB cable

I've used many distros over the last ten years (I'm not a under-the-hood user, just a user) and I know that most require some 'extras' to make them real-world compatible, but if the 'extras' for Fedora (RPM Fusion) were no longer maintained, would Fedora be of any use to a general user? Thanks

Linux user for about 10 years and have tried all major distros and desktop environments. I have always found linux to be hard on my eyes with some distros worse than others but in Fedora 32 I have finally found a distro that is buttery smooth and easy on the eyes. Well done Fedora!

Tried it for a week. Kept freezing if more than three windows/apps open. Could have been my Acer Celeron laptop. I only want a Gnome desktop, the distro is not important (except for those that are not compatible with MEGAsync client). So now using Pop!_os and it's as smooth as silk......

When you use GNOME or any other WM with compositing on virt-manager you should really use virgl instead of llvmpipe (Video -> virtio + 3d acceleration, Screen -> OpenGL). I'm not telling you how much of a difference it makes because you won't believe me unless you actually test it :D

Fedora gives you latest packages as soon as possible, and their motto is really to make new releases as quick as possible like every 6 months. And morevoer you didnt update it after installation, after the upgrade the 5.6.12 headers are installed, and thats latest than your Arch.

Ok I guess this may not be the right place to leave the comment I will leave but.....I don't know if have ever made a review about openmandriva distro.
Could you make an in depth episode and compare it for example with KDE manjaro?
Thanks in advance
