I just got to say that I am extremely frustrated with iPhone. Please understand that I am a lifelong galaxy user and this is my very first iPhone with the iPhone 13. A lot of the features that I know and love about the galaxy are not even available on the iPhone and this is one of them.
All I want is to stream from my iPhone to my fire stick without having to buy any extra adapters, cables, and without having to download any apps to my phone but iPhone can-t even handle that!
With a galaxy phone you just use the screen mirror option and it connects within seconds no Internet required no special cables required and no apps required! I just don-t understand why Apple makes this so difficult so now I have to buy a $50 adapter just to be able to do what I need to do all because I don-t have Wi-Fi Internet or hotspot at my house or on my device? I-m thinking I should just return this device and go back to Galaxy.

Both my Samsung QLED and iPhone are on the same WiFi network, and I still cannot mirror my iPhone. screen. I get the message: Unable to connect to the Samsung server. It appears you must have an INTERNET connection just to mirror even if you have a wifi network.
One would think that forcing one to have internet would be illegal.

Man them HDMI adapters I jumped a break constantly like you only get a couple uses out of them in they don-t work anymore never know how well you take care of you know you can only use it for a little while all the time and you constantly use I guess but if you wanna watch TV all night your beat you only got a couple nights that

Why does Apple not recommend using peer to peer regularly? I-ve got iPhone but do not have smart tv and have been wanting to get away from the hdmi cable forever but I use it to watch Netflix a lot.

So basically you can't connect to your TV without wifi, i was trying to do it with no additional cords or apple tv box thing
