i tried this in january 2022, the ui of the -program- is different by now than it was in the video. all i did was the -essential tweaks- since my pc is set up since a while and i have already installed a lot of things on it. but the essential tweaks might also include different things by now than back when this video was made. my pc did not have internet afterwards, it started up slower, everything was always freezing for some seconds, if it was a right-click, or open windows menu. then i realized that my pc started freezing completely if i just tried to open 1 window or program, nothing was workign anymore correctly and my pc became like 1000% slower. gladly clicking on essential tweaks started by creating a windows backup before doinf the task, so i could restore my pc. i would not recommend this, or only on new systems maybe. and i have a ryzen 9 5900x which was running fine before and all idle tasks were only using 2% cpu anyway. but it was slower than a single core 4 ghz 20 year old cpu after these essential tweaks.

As far as making Windows run nicer for me this was perfect. However, I have run into an issue where I am not able to open the Microsoft Store, Microsoft Teams, or access my company's MDM on this particular machine. When I went to apply my backup image looks like it didnt get created or I just completely forgot. I think this really has to do with the background apps script I ran and I am wondering if there is a way to revert this change? However, I think my only option at this point is to reformat :-/

my god i forgot that on windows 10 my only backup option was onedrive and i deleted it and now my one notepad file which stores all my passwords is gone great and also my all notepad files are deleted great!!
Update:
i'm sorry i was a dickhead my self for uninstalling onedrive my self if have retrieved my data by just installing one drive again so lesson dont uninstall your cloud storage until you have you data on another cloud storage service.

Your script somehow deleted my Documents folder. When I view the folder properties and then click OK it says C:\users\(user)\OneDrive\Documents cannot be found, so I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that I uninstalled OneDrive using your script. I chose to uninstall it but it didn't warn me something like that was gonna happen.
Now I can't even run your script to reinstall OneDrive cause it never stops loading...

Hey I used your debloater for the last two years and never had an issue. The new one from July 21 is giving me a weird message
-'iex' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.- is there something wrong with my pc? I tried googling but no luck so far. Thanks for the help

Hi there, can you please update the GUI with more apps like steam, java, anydesk/teamviewer etc and a torrent client ? It would be really helpful by just installing those with one click. Thanks. Also i wanted to know that it install with system compatibility right (like 32 bit apps for 32 bit os and 64 for 64) ?

You saved me several hours and a lot of stress. I always have to go over this mind numbing tasks to remove all the mandatory bs microsoft bundles with the OS every time I go through a Windows 10 installation on a friend or relative's toaster laptop.
Thank you so much, you are a true hero.

Hey Chris,
thanks for your work and this video. I'm already using it on about 100 clients. I have one more question that hopefully you or someone can answer for me.
Do I need to have administrator rights to run this tool or can the user run this without administrator rights?
