Thanks for a clear presentation which left me with a couple of queries.
Am I right in thinking that this will only work with pre-animated text? It seems that any Animations relying on a mouse-click stop the video from playing.
And I believe that, unlike audio, you cannot play the video across slides. Is that right?

Good video. I am doing a presentation that has 40 slides showing people who got their Distinguished Toastmaster award. I want 10 seconds per slide 2 questions: 1 I just want a slow rotation of the background image - can that be done? 2. Has the newest version of ppt taken away text to speech? Thanks again.

Kevin, you are awesome! I think Microsift should say they work for Kevin rather than the other way around! I am happy to help convince your wife to let you buy anyhting else you want for making such incredible videos! (er.., I will check with my wife quickly).

Is there any way of making the move from one slide to the next smoother when using video backgrounds? I find that from one slide to the next, there is a slight lag before the video starts... it'd be nice if it was a bit more seamless.

Kevin. I have created an Index in word doc. Is it possible to do the following. When I click on a page number in the index can it take me to the actual page in the doc. If so, how would I do that???

What if you want the video to play across multiple slides, but you don't want the video to reset, and start playing from the beginning on each slide. Can you do that?

I cannot locate the mentioned video backdrops directly from microsoft - do you have some information on how to get those? Awesome tutorial, thank you.

This is great -Thank you! Is there a special way I would need to save the presentation in order to add it to my video editor program?
