I live here in Cape Coral. Where pine island is attached. Luckily my house is ok but so many have lost much. This whole area that I ve grown up in is now changed forever. My family and everybody here will only have memories from now on. This was catastrophic damage and we ll never be the same. Thank you Rob for coming over to help. Wish I could ve met you while you were here.

As you can imagine, the vast majority of what I saw, I was unable to and absolutely would not put on video! My goal was to help people, not embarrass anybody and for sure not to capitalize on anybody bad fortune! Good Bless you All!

I live here, right in downtown ft myers. this really was jext level crazy. Ive been thru every one after andrew and this by far was the worst and the one people prepared for least. With it being so late in season everybody had the thought that it wouldnt hit or if it did that it'd be mild. Never let your guard down

I was in Lake Charles Louisiana last year for both Hurricanes! It broke my heart to see the devistaion, but it also opened my eyes to the sense of humanity, people helping people, feeding people, taking people in. It sucks it take a disaster to bring people together!

Hey Robert your hero in my eyes brother. I'm in California and I felt nothing till I watched this video. I dont even know the people who was affected in this storm but I'm balling out of control and I don't cry. This world needs more people like Robert and his crew.

My dad just had extensive heart surgery, something about blood clots. Anyways that crazy bastard road it out, 83yrs old staples from groin to heel. Won't have power for two weeks at best he says. Doesn't want me coming down to help, he's fine. Cape Coral Florida

Coast guard and the national guard were unbelievable I've seen some amazing drop and rescue videos. From sanibel, pine Island, and the other small island. I just can't believe some of the people in shape they were already in decided to ride this storm out

The nerve of those guardsmen to come and take food out of the mouths of someone who has few if any other options for a meal. Those guardsmen have a kitchen tent of their own, and they aren't missing any meals. Shame on them.
