I'd love to go there. but I deeply disagree with -catch and release-. As an explanation: I'm holding a permanent german fishing license, which means I had to take a class twice per week for several months and pass a written and a practical exam, and one of the things that stuck is the first sentence of one of the laws that regulate fresh water -recreational- fishing here, which loosely translates as -Fishing as a sport with a fishing rod is allowed as long as the caught fish are used in a sensible and purposeful manner. - To me that means cook and eat them. which in turn means that I will never go fishing when I don't feel like eating fresh fish, and I will always try to avoid (by choice of method, time, place, and gear) to catch fish that I wouldn't want to eat anyway. for example, in over 30 years I have never owned any specialized gear to fish for carp or pike.
