Almost 50 years ago Bob J introduced me and our whole family to fly fishing (I remember the VW that he owned when he was a young guide. I have the upmost respect for this -true gentleman of the fly fishing world. -

a very good fly for Montana is the OxyFly, you put a hook through a pill of Oxycodone and throw it in water.
you might also catch a fishermen down stream so use thick leader; )
