Hello, our two girls (3 and 5) love your foraging and rock pooling videos. It almost became a daily thing after lunch, while having something nice, they ask me to watch your videos, keep talking about little sea creatures excitedly etc. Its so nice to watch! You would be really proud and happy about what you do if you could see them, so I wanted you to know that. Thank you, you inspired us to go to the sea more, the 5yr old even caught her first fish this Sunday. I love spending time on the water with them, just like you I guess. Question from the US bloak from Connecticut. What are you going to do if you catch a 300 pound thresher by yourself? I know people can catch keeper sharks by themselves but its not something I would do. Thresher, Mako and Porbeagle are the edible sharks caught in the Northeast in the US. Blue sharks are our bycatch and we have tons of them.
Those dolphin are having as much fun as you are swimming along with you.

What a fantastic day, thanks for sharing it with us. That new boat certainly shifts with its 80hp motor. Pleased that you didn't blank with the dogfish! Nice to see you using a reel with the handle on the proper side! A lot of useful tips as usual but one that you don't share is how you arrange for the sea to be so calm, or is that a secret?

I-m just into rock pooling at the minute but one day I want to experience those dolphins like you do, that was pure natural beauty right there! - Every time I watch one of your videos I want to do, try and see something new it-s just endless amazing content and I-ve learned so much thank you!

Caught my first dog fish on Ramsgate east pier on Friday 5th October & I was over the moon + 5 Whiting, one big enough to fillet, delish! One day hoping to catch bigger fish & your video's always give me inspiration to keep trying. Thanks John -

Fabulous fishing, as alway, John. Fantastic to watch. My missus is obsessed by sharks but also absolutely terrified of them too, Must admit, I would have shat it if I hooked one of those things, a decent sized pike is enough for me.

Hi John, small question on the float, as it floats free on the line, and there is a weight on the leader, the bait will always go to the bottom. Or you have somewhere on the line a -stopper- for the float?
