That's always the thing with trips out on the boat John never knowing how it will play out, but that was a cracking one, something for the table and lovely Rays, the underwater footage was great another eye into the world below, would deffo like to see more of that footage time allowing and clarity of course, i appreciate the timescale on footage because I do a lot of editing myself, was wondering tho do you ever land any rays for eating? I know there is a size involved for keeping and are they not of the skate family thanks again

Hi John I was wondering if at some time you could do a few more shore fishing vids as I have booked a holiday to Newquay next year and would like to get in some fishing but I would like a few good spots to try may be a short list of places lol big thanks for the fish locker adventures I love them to bits as I have said be for. May be I will see you down there for a vid I will let you know closer to the day ty again stay safe keep well

A really cracking day you had with those rays, thanks for sharing it with us. Really pleased to see that you managed to get a couple of dogfish, it would have spoilt the day if you hadn't caught at least one! That underwater footage was fantastic, so wonderfully clear, unlike my local Wash water. Thanks for adding that link to the other underwater films. The work that you put in to produce these videos is really appreciated.

Walked to Start Point light house yesterday and saw the seals, about 50 yards further out I saw a burst of mackerel on the surface followed by tuna breaking the surface and some coming right out. Definitely blues and around the size of the seals, went on for about 10 mins amazing sight and one I thought I-d never see myself in the UK.

Just one question today: I've watched you catch your fair share of dogfish. What would you say was the largest one you ever caught and just how large can they get? -

Try and catch some fish lol, well John some great fish there mate. Under water footage was absolutely magnificent. Really appreciate your top class videos and the graft you put in to produce them. Mustn-t forget to thank you for the tips and methods you use, it helps a lot. Cheers

As always, getting stuck into the fish. The underwater camera is defo very interesting. I don't think i would have the grapefruits to lower my camera down just in case i would never get it back. But again the underwater footage is defo amazing to see.

There is something prehistoric about rays, especially their eyes. Great to see them swimming on the underwater camera. I wonder if they after the hermit crabs, because there doesn't seem much else there to have them grouped together like that.

Those biscay minnows are the business. caught so many wrasse, pollock and bass with them! They are even out fishing the fire tail powerworms! Great video again John. I think you have convinced me to get the 175. it-s a lovely boat and handles well!
