Spooky
I understand the issues related to conservation and the preservation of the most effective breeding stocks of the fish that are indigenous to the UK but I will never understand how you can gladly return fish to the sea, that will feed your family for days. That 9 lb Bass would have had me in tears if I had been on your boat to see you casually returning it. The only consolation I can glean is that you know better than me and that, somewhere down the line, people who are as ignorant as me will learn a lesson. Keep on teaching Mate.

It's 01: 50 and I just saw this video from 2021.
That's a very good bass.
I enjoy watching and listening to details and try to get more information.
Last year I have seen on one of your video using a slow pitch jig gold/orange zebra( sidewinder Thor) with a spinning rod.
I have bought it and I was surprised to see catching with almost every single drop.
I couldn't believe it.
Thanks for sharing & explain so much.
I would love to be out there but I can't travel. Restrictions.
Best wishes for 2021

My husband and I went deep sea fishing a few years ago. We had a great time and caught lots of red snapper. I supplied the chum. lol. But I also caught the most and biggest fish. I wish I had taken pictures but I would like then fish til I caught something then puke again while the deck hands removed the fish from my line. Next time I'm definitely getting some Dramamine for sea sickness! You brought back a great memory for me! Fantastic video! ---

Am still watching older videos at weird times because my son is still very ill in hospital and they are such a relaxing, informative watch. While your eye was on the prize of that beautiful fish mine was on that swell. My boy has a boat on the Norfolk Broads although some places have a slight swell, nothing like that, but I know you are an experienced sailor. Another great watch, thank you.

2019 I caught a bass a bit bigger than that one on some small spinning gear. A few inches longer, and deeper from belly to back. Was too far from my net, dragged it up onto the bank and as I reached for it, it flipped itself over and it snapped the 20lb line and fell back into the water, where it waded off. My fish of a lifetime, just a shame I never got to stop with it for a minute

Now that-s a fresh start on a day - -3 is actually a nice temperature to be out in, here it-s been all from -3 and now up to -7. But we are still waiting for some snow - That bass was a log mate- what a beauti. Hope you get a more action on the next session so you dont get frostbite - I hate that when my fingers don-t won-t to work properly. Hope you have a good one-

I know it-s childish but I chuckle every time you tell us to keep an eye on your float to save you turning around. Little things please little minds as they say. A bass that big is still yet to find itself on the end of my spear. This year hopefully! Awesome watch as always. Cheers.

Great video John, nice fish was a monster. Was curious if you could mention fishing tides, weather, water temp. and determining the key places to fish on banks, wrecks, etc. Based on the input of these values. Would be a great video. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Great great videos. Hours of pleasure watching and learning. Many thanks.
1 question, I have is. When you say there's fishing gear in the water and you got to keep an eye out for that. Do you mean broken nets. or line.
Keep the videos coming, there so so good. thanks
