Seeing you do these outings with your family, reminds me when i was a kid and would go out on weekends for a walk in the beach/woods out of season with my family, nostalgia.

The temptation on Johns face wanting to dunk the bread in the butter! The proper northern way! But then changed his mind - What a guy! Just discovered fish locker and currently going through every video. Hope me and my lad have the same relationship you and James do, had his first day on the bank last year for his 5th birthday and he loved it.

This looks so fun.
I used to catch the ball of. Spike with my best friend in cabin tour then released them. I thought we're going to eat them but I was wrong, and found a fish from a little island when the water was low when it was late. The water rise I almost stuck on that little island cuz there no way to cross but I made it.

The small ones the lad found are about the size of the scallops we find along the Florida coast every year. You can't really go walking out to find them, though, as they like to hide in the seaweed and sea grass. On high tide you've got to dive down nearly eight-ten feet and sort through the sea grass

This is the best 30 minutes I-ve ever spent on the internet, I-ve always loved the idea of foraging and I kinda forgot costal foraging was a thing! It was very calming to watch you and your family just explore and get a meal out of it in the end

Great family day out thanks for sharing it with us James is so lucky to have parents teaching him about the good things in nature these are things that seem to be lost in this day and age of kids sat in front of tv's and game consoles
