Oh okay. That's what you were up to. I wonder what all the activities people have thought of to do up there while snowed in for 5 months besides some of them still going outside nearby to go sledding I guess. That's right I remember Ice Fishing. I guess you're going to be working inside all these year for your 5 months snowed in. You said you had all that comfort stuff to build. I don't care what age people are I would still recommend setting up a video gaming set up while snowed in. There's adult games too. Hunting, Fishing and Survival and all. Keeps your brain active and coordination going. Not much you can do with frozen ground even if you cleared all the snow out of the way somewhere huh? Maybe some really rich people that live up in Canada have heavy equipment like Backhoe's with hammer drills or concrete drill ends on them and they dig in the ground with those even when the ground is frozen and hard. Maybe not. I don't know if those motorized augers can drill dig frozen ground or what. Probably still too hard to bother with. Anyways, I live in an Apartment myself. Not much to be up to here. Putting some door hanger storage shelves on the doors and storing more food. I got a freezer chest for Christmas from mom. Going to store even more food in there. Been kind of doomsday prepping the only way I can. Making extra food storage space for months of food and not having to go anywhere for a good while. It's more dangerous around here. Bad people but the way the system is and what the prices of everything is, for someone in my predicament an apartment that's low rent is the only way to go. Otherwise you'd have to be completely competitively active and abled and I'm not that kind of abled anymore. Be safe out there and stay abled. I'm abled but I'm not 5 days a week, 8 hours or more abled anymore. The human body was a major let down for me in this life. I went to do so much more with myself but my body is holding me back.

Hello Shawn and Cali from Australia! Your surroundings have changed quickly as winter creeps in fast! The cabin is coming along nicely and is looking beautiful! No matter what there is always jobs to be done, you have come a very long way quite fast and I am sure you will never slow down, you are a very hard working and inspiring man! The area you live is so very pretty, but now looking a little less colorful with snow blanketing everything! As always love your videos, stay safe and take care, give Cali a hug for me and be warm!

Lol, almost in every shot, you can see how the camera is slowly looking up because the lock on the mount is too loose or whatever. Almost every single shot, sometimes very noticeably and sometimes less, but still there. Hahaha.

Hey Shawn, how's the roof dealing with the snow? Seems to be a pretty smooth layer! Will it naturally slide off as it builds up more or will you have to remove it yourself from time to time?

I love your content, work ethic and attention to detail. Of course Cali. But, do you ever have days where you just don't want to do anything/or just don't do anything and relax inside?

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives in a way you do everything for your pack to survive even the harshest of winter.

11. 53 of your video. A vehicle went past behind you?
I thought you were out in the wilds of the woods, miles from anywhere! ?

Nice look around the door trim by angling the logs. Gee the loons are late in leaving there this year. Looks like a few geese are too.

Do you have a snow splitter on the back of your chimney? My buddy had his pushed over and bent up for not having one. Stay safe!
