Several times I catch her looking what your doing looking you, while thinking, are you sure your doing that right? It is so stinking cute! Listen to your body as your out there working, kind sir. All the best to you. That floor is UNBELIEVABLE!

In all of the building you do, I can't help but laugh a little at your side kick, Cali. She is right there at your side or under foot much of the time. I think she is your inspector. I think you are a very patient man to be so kind to her and her love of chasing after her toy. Thank you for sharing so much of your life and hard work.

I'm wondering what type of logs you are using. While in MN, for our upright cabin we used poplar and even some basswood on the second story. We did preserve it and it's held up well over all these 30 odd years. Railroad ties were used as footings.

Hello Shawn, with regards to Cali's pond, for esthetic beauty why not build an overhanging bridge such as we see in Japanese gardens? Somehow I already picture it with wood ducks and wild vegetation!

Hi Shawn. I love the way Cali is so helpful. I want an outdoor kitchen like yours. If only I could keep the critters away. That kitchen is to die for. Very nice Shawn.

Just to clarify, I meant to ask what type of logs do you use for your cabin, sauna, etc? Thank you. I admire your amazing compilation of tools, by the way.

I admire your patience and attention to detail, Shawn. I'd be swearing up a storm at some of these activities - ha! I've learned so much from you.

Cali cracks me up anytime you shovel dirt or cut off wood she is there to grab it. Do you ever come across any snakes? Any poisonous ones?
