3-Minute Vs. 30-Minute Vs. 3-Hour Burger Steve Logan: I'll eat them all, i hope you count this as a burger, but i will take 80/20 raw ground chuck, preferably choice grade and being from ky. I use black angus or hereford breed, it is grass fed, i would not do this with store bought beef, and form it into a thick patty, looks like a thick burger(appx. 10-12 ounces), i eat it tartare, make a dent/dimple in the top big enough to hold a raw egg, crack in a farm fresh egg, and sprinkle sea salt(kosher salt if you do not have sea salt) and cracked fresh ground black pepper on it. Then in a small bowl, i add 4% fat cottage cheese and hit it hard with fresh cracked black pepper. It is delicious. If you do not count prep time, it is a 10 second burger, counting for the forming, lol, it is awesome

Make sure to cook these burger patties well done, because hamburger and ground meat are cuts of beef that are processed through a grinder. If the cut of meat has been contaminated with bacteria it would reside on the meat surface or near surface. When ground, any bacteria will be uniformly distributed within the ground mixture, therefore, the entire product would be contaminated with active harmful bacteria. The only way to ensure all food borne bacteria is killed is cooking the hamburger or ground meat to an inside temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit which is required temperature to achieve well done.

Just salt and pepper, okay then. I need to stop being extra - puts away garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, egg, slap yo mama, and onion powder (because I don't always have fresh onion)

While I would never personally invest the time, resources or cleanup necessary for the 3hr Burger, I would pay an amount of money I'm not proud of for the chance to eat one.
