She is absolutely right you can cook a good rack of ribs in the oven. The liquid smoke is a must. I do have a gas grill as well as a big green egg. Are usually smoke my ribs on the big green egg with a little bit of cherry wood. But it's mostly lump charcoal. But I live in Minnesota and it gets really cold in the winter. So making ribs in the oven like this young lady did is in my opinion A great method as well I've done it many times. But I have to admit I cheat a little bit. I buy my rub and barbecue sauce from a meat market.

I m only watching this video because my smoker broke, wouldn t get to correct temp and I was starting to lose hope then said screw it I ll just do my ribs in the oven just so I can eat them, now. I m really looking hope, the smoke gives rubs a beautiful color and flavor that the oven just can t do, not that these ribs look bad, just not as good as the lovely candy apple red that my rub comes to when it smokes on my grill for 4 hours, I really hope I like these

This recipe is sooo good. This was my first time making ribs so I was a little scared. The details are simple to follow and they turned out perfect. To the rub I did add some coriander and a tad bit more salt. The time, oven temperature and glazing time is spot on in this recipe. Thank you for posting and please post more recipes because I know I can trust your taste buds and directions.

I did this tonight and I turned out AMAZING! I couldn't figure out how to remove the silver skin you speak of at the beginning. You made it look so easy but I couldn't figure out how to do it so skipped that part. It only became visable to me after the whole thing was done and I could see it peeling off. I don't think it effected the taste for me. It turned out delicious anyway! Love it!

A similar approach requiring little effort: Season with dry rub. Place in disposable alum roaster in 450 oven for 30 minutes until sizzling. Add can of good dark beer to roasting pan, cover with foil, reduce oven to 325 and braise in beer until fork tender. Remove foil, baste with sauce several times while continuing to roast until sauce turns dark and sticky. Done.

So I ve seen other videos and almost identical except you cook them at a lower temperature. Their temperature is 100 degrees higher and ends with a broil 500 degrees. But your ribs look juicy and stay attached to the bone. Theirs literally fall of the bone which is ok but I d like to pick it up and enjoy it. I ll be trying this today. Thanks for the video. New Sub.

You don t want to leave your meat on a paper towel for that long, the towel extracts moisture and juices inside the muscle and dries it out. Just use the paper towel to dry the meat after a rinse, do not continue to leave the meat rest on or be wrapped in a paper towel.

Amazing recipe however I never ever rinsed the ribs in cold water cause sense it s tap water, bacteria could get on the meat and I do not want that to happen so yeah tip: never rinse your meat in cold water mk NEVER just wipe it but furthermore this recipe is amazing

Hello. This will be my first time that I will cooking some ribs. Can I use olive oil instead of liquid smoke? Can I skip the aluminum foil and cook it without it? I will use basic dry rubs. Such salt, peppers, garlic and so. Hope you can answer me soon. Thanks!
