On todays episode of Prime Time, Ben and Brent, of the Meat Hook, are at home in their butcher shop with a big beef leg. 230jjordan: As a Brit, gotta say I'm happy to see a whole butcher in the US. In England proper butcher shops are found everywhere and there's always good cheap meat to buy. The shops make most their money selling lunch meals. Eater can you please visit Porterford Butchers in central London? Probably the best and only starting point. I would love you guys touring around London and greater England to visit various butcher shops and restaurants.

Is there a purpose for the chain link belt? I know butchers wear chain mail articles for protection but cant imagine what protection a chain link belt would serve other than stopping a giant meat grinder if one were to fall in. But given the placement, it would serve more as a warning for others rather than a personal safeguard. Or is it just some butcher flare?

I think this is back to the fututre 4 and Beef went to the future and made his grandson a beef master. But it's a time loop paradox since this is the Beef that will go back and give the almanac of beefs to the original Beef in 1954 who wasn't named Beef at that time but will adopt the name Beef after meeting with his descendant.

Wow dude did you just say grass fed? Please please tell me something else besides grass that cows eat. Hay is actually grass. Corn is added to hay when the person is getting ready to slaughter the cow. sometimes they get to eat watermelon, vines, corn stalks, blah blah blah. Every god darn cow eats grass,

Please show exactly where you get various cuts you name and how you cut it (e. g the merlot. You are just waving in the in the general dirction or show after the fact. I bucher my own wild game and would like to be able to name the muscles and duplicate the beef cut in venison.

That's not a steak 9: 02 that's a 1. 49 per pound roast where I live. If people really pay 15. 99 per pound for those cuts y'all was talking about in the video, I feel sorry for them or you live in a rich neighborhood where they don't mind throwing money out the window.

In the late seventies and early eighties as a 18 to 24 year old I worked in a shop that broke down hindquarters and sides of beef. When they tried the raw meat I went right back to those days. Real butchers here. Thanks guys. You are true artists with a knife.

I once bought a beef shank at a farmer's market thinking it was another type of cut. Well I grilled it and it was the toughest meat ever lol. However, seeing the shank made in this way gives me hope and encourages me to give it another chance
