Some make your kitchen life easier, and some just put a smile on your face- Pancakebot clearly falls into the latter category, but is it fun enough to justify its price tag? Shop the PancakeBot 2. 0

Haha, this is the ANTITHESIS of what this series is supposed to be. But. Whatever hahahaa. How long did it take you to make this? Because Hipster Farmer's Market and/or elementary school side-hustle seem like legit business strategies here XDI wonder if you could repurpose this for like chocolate or something else too. Anyway, 300 seems decent, I suppose. But, I will see where the state of the pancake printing machines will be in a few years (probably extinct) and the coming refinements before I try jumping on this one haha.

if I'm in the mood for pancakes, I want it ASAP not find my charger and USB, turn on the computer, plug into the computer, chose my design which I'll probably sit there sifting through for an hour for the perfect cutest one than end up with pancakes the next day. seriously. P. S. it's not even a pancake! P. P. S. if the nozzle was bigger and thicker, maybe it would work. can't believe there's no pancake maker with interchangeable design plates. come on now please

U could create a cool business if u like hooked up some drawing tablets to the pancake machine and kids could draw w/e and then get it pancakeified while they watchedEdit: you wouldn't need to train ppl to do pancake art by hand either, just like put the pancakebot behind a glass screen, let it do it's thing and have someone flip it before giving it to the kid

I think what you're supposed to do is print the Eiffel Tower and then pour pancake batter over the whole thing and so the pancake that is produced has a picture of the Eiffel Tower on it. The reason is that the Eiffel Tower will be more browned than the rest of the pancake.

I think it was a pretty big waste that you only printed silhouettes. Actual pancake art uses timing to cook parts of the batter to different degrees, for example getting a darker E inside a light square. If the machine can't even handle that, it's worse than it looks.

The batter thinness is a but much for a normal breakfast stack, but modify the batter a bit for flavor, and I could see this being used to make decorations for another dish like pie crusts or casseroles. For the extra fancy dinner host among us.

Thank you for acknowledging that cleanup is a thing that must be included in considerations about convenience! I hate it when recipes say crap like quick and easy, but ask you to use a bunch of pots and pans, etc. and clean up takes forever.

This product lost me at straining pancake batter. Then, with all the technology, it still uses a wheel thermostat? Pass. I'll make regular pancakes and then cut out the shapes my family wants. I just hope it isn't the Eiffel Tower.

If you ever invest in this, you can have the bot do the outline, let it brown slightly, and then pour in your batter on top of the outline. When you flip, your picture will be there along with a nice thick pancake for you to eat

This would be amazing if it was icing a cake. Someone should come with such an idea. Icing any size cake with whatever design. Or a cake maker Coming with a software where you can choose the shape of a cake
