On this episode of The Meat Show, host and professional carnivore Nick Solares visits Matts Rancho Martinez, a Tex-Mex joint in Dallas, Texas famous for a meaty, cheesy, guacamole-spiked concoction called Bob Armstrong dip

Bob Armstrong Dip originated at Matt's El Rancho in Austin, not at the Dallas restaurant with a similar name. The two restaurants are not connected. It's funny, because Eater ran an earlier story all about the real original Bob dip in Austin. Where is the fact-checker?

As someone that lived within 3 miles of the Mexican border in south Texas for almost a decade, I have eaten plenty of traditional Mexican food and lots of Tex-Mex as well, they are very different and both are delicious when prepared correctly with proper ingredients.

Hes growing on me. Nice work. Maybe some Argentine content, unless I missed it? Beef legends from way back. Please dont go to just a restaurant somewhere, follow the trail of the meat, show us the suppliers and the history like you obviously can. In Argentina would be a plus!

One thing about these small restaurants with great food. People dont wanna see old black and white pictures of your family on the wall while trying to eat food. its creepy and can be a major turn off. That being said. continue to make great food.

Eater Guyz: You made a boo boo. This place is in Dallas as stated in the video, but the description box says Austin, TX that would be Matt's Famous El Rancho not featured. Just an FYI.

Martinez? That's the most common Latin American last name. I know so many Martinez's! ( me included)Anyway, this food looks SO GOOD!
