How about giving the fund and mentorship to talented designers that really desperately need the money, connections and guidance to make it in the fashion industry? I mean seriously. Jennifer Meyer Maguire - daughter of Ronald Meyer really needs 100k? Also Tabitha Simmons, wife of Craig McDean and who's work is already well represented in stores needs 100k and some fashion connections? Last but not least Greg Chait former boyfriend of Mary-Kate Olsen and CEO of Tsubi. shameful to say the least.

Wish the Italian girl had won. Not that fond of her collection, but she seems like a lovely person and she did great on that Tiffany challenge. Agree with what everybody's saying about most of these people being privileged even before participating in this.

I think it's contradictory when rich, well-connected people win a -fund-. Yes they are very talented and deserve recognition for being such, but the money would make a bigger difference in the careers of those who dont have much.
