I know I'm late to the party with this video but this is directly from their website: MAKEUP FOR WOMEN WHO DONT APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR HIGH STANDARDS. Who wants to be low maintenance anyway? And since when is owning a single, lightly tinted, chapstick a good thing? To whomever started this no fuss trend, with all due respect, Wed cry for you, but our mascara is too damn expensive. Which is why we will be bold, and unapologetic, As we champion the spirit of all the confident, successful, Women who are equal parts swagger and substance. The kind of women who know exactly what theyre worth, And demand to be treated accordingly. Ugh. why are we tearing down women who don't wear that much makeup or any at all? You can be unapologetic while not wearing makeup? I don't understand this whole we're better than the rest and you suck it attitude that seems to fall into the idea that wear makeup equates to success. Also, promoting ultra-consumerism, not including excessive packaging, is actually harmful to the environment so we should actually care about how they market themselves.

Missing Tati so going through videos I haven't seen so glad I found this one seeing as we are getting this brand in our subscription boxes Ipsy plus this month since is the silver tube of mascara so it's nice to know a little bit about the brand and it's nice to see your beautiful gorgeous face if you're reading this I'm wrapping my arms around you and praying for you nightly I'm so sorry you are going through what you were going through and just know that your true fans know you're coming from a place of Truth and you had no ill intentions and we know it's a bittersweet Victory reaching 10 million Subs but girl you earned it more than you know so don't feel bad for that and keep your head up and just keep doing you with that being said Keep On Keepin On love you XO Barb. I went to makeup school at IL Makiage so I have a lot of love for the brand. I think that's just a marketing shtick. I guess it works for some and it doesn't. But the products though - I also think their baked blushes, highlighter and eyeshadow quads are spot on. I was so impressed with the professionalism at their makeup school, their kindness and the knowledge of their teachers. I really just love this brand and think they're just awesome. Beautiful products, gorgeous metal quads, gorgeous packaging on their highlighter palettes - they also have really nice deals once in a while. Big fan. P: )

Tati, re-evaluate your skincare products. They contain a lot of alcohol and fragrance. Anything that has fragrance, has alcohol. I tend to avoid fragrance, as my skin is very sensitive, but I dont think you want to put that on your skin. Most moisturizers have alcohol and I use three that have alcohol, but only one type of alcohol; theyre also scented (Im looking for a more viable option. I have combo skin just like you and my dry patches have been getting worse with these fragranced products that contain high percentages of alcohol. Its drying and awful for the skin. Take lots of care. Love you.

So basically the product itself is great. The marketing not so much. Price points aren't actually that outrageous. Seems it is just simply letting them know their messaging doesn't appeal to you. Would be good to know why the eyeshadow expires so quickly. Maybe there is a good reason. Other Youtubers used the line for a month. was that something the brand asked. Not sure I have seen any other complete full face from one brand experimented with for a month by so many at the same time. Not that there is anything wrong with that at all - just something that jumps out.

They told me on Instagram I was getting a free sample but I had to pay 5 for shipping but instead, they charged me 50 and they sent me a full-sized bottle. I enjoyed the packaging in the way it was delivered. Its my skin color but its difficult to apply and its really hard to get off but it wears off around my nostrils and my lips somehow. I can scrub my face over and over and still not get it off. It dries quickly, so its hard to brush on and blend in. My skin looks weird with it on. So weird. I feel like its literal paint.

Hey Tati, love that you're paying attention to ingredients I work on the ingredient side of the beauty industry so it is a huge interest of mine as well. Please keep in mind that if it is an SPF product, the inactive ingredients aren't always listed in descending order of volume. Only non-SPF products generally follow that rule. Also, most peptides and botanical extracts are designed to work at 1-2% use levels so they are always going to be lower on the list than things like emulsifiers, oils, and powders. :)

1) I HATE it when brands require you to purchase something else to use their products and that iPad cover looks very cheap and not pretty at all 2) the formula and even the colors remind me of the Pur Cosmetics midnight masquerade formula. Which was in my boxy charm and not 89. The IM one looked a little difficult to work with, or like it takes getting used to. Not going to try this because of the iPad thing. If I'm going to pay 89 it better not look cheap

Oh love, I dont want to be high maintenance, I just want to be awesome. Perhaps denial? Ive never seen a makeup worn list so long from any other YT. I mean you do you, god knows I too wear a lot, but I dont pretend its not high maintenance and normal. I think their thing is just trying to do that Kim Kardashian/ Tom Ford thing where they want you to be proudand think its a strong feminist, to be too much. Its an in-your-face exclusivity appeal
