Tati it sounds like Lum-A (Lume') there's commercials about it where the maker who is a doctor pronounces it. I like the coconut and peony ones best of all because it's a light scent and once on it is on the smell disappears. I've been using this for years I use the solid deodorant for the pits then the sweat ones for personal areas -- use it every where close to down there and 72 hours getting nice it lasts longer!
Did your doctor check for PCOS because some women can have both endometriosis and PCOS or PCOS can be mistaken for endometriosis but the fact you have cysts would be a good idea because if so being put on metformin can help you get pregnant just a little FYI

OMG your story about accidentally using the carpet refresher in your bath so funny! I have a funny story too LoL. Myself, husband and daughter went to a nice elegant restaurant. We ended up being there alone, so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves! ( Snow storm no one wanted to venture in) Anyway my husband excused himself to go to the restaurant leaving my daughter and I alone. The waiter came by and dropped off off this plate with these squares with green herbs on top. My daughter and I both instinctually grabbed one and took a bite. it was just fancy butter LoL we both cracked up laughing at our selves and we were thankful thete were no one there to see our silly mistake LoL

I don't do baths. Baths are such a welcoming mat for UTI's and also harmful bacterial infections for skin lesions and just too much stuff that ur crotch shouldn't deal with. Ur skin is dirty anyway and then you have natural staph - also, u have germs on ur body. So, u have all these great things on ur body. and then u run a hot bathtub and then soak ur body in all of that stuff with nice skin stuff. yeah, NOPE FOR this girl lol! I love my showers and I like to get in and do my stuff and get out!

I do want to caution anyone who is thinking about ingesting magnesium. It is very much a person to person thing. My MIL was visiting, and would add magnesium to her prebed water bottle. Works for her, good. I try it, itchy splotchy rash all over my body. Run across the street to get benadryl (benadryl now has its own controversy) at the 24 hour store to stop this allergic reaction.

You are so right about the need of using a tongue scraper. My son at the age of 28 had tongue cancer. He is well now but lost almost half of his tongue. I never promoted using a tongue scraper but I do now. I nearly lost my son. I understand that only 25% survive this type cancer and these are old stats. Thank you for bringing up this topic. You could be saving lives.

I deplete magnesium as well quite quickly and I know I'm low on magnesium because my body will start twitching when I go to bed at night I've almost twitched myself right off the bed and I talked to my doctor and it's because I was low on magnesium and I take the oral supplement and the twitches go away so I know I'm absorbing it.

Lume is fabulous! I don't use the cream version but the stick deodorant is wonderful. Unscented for the nether regions and any of the other fragrances for the pits. They also have a male version called Mando - their Bourbon Leather fragrance is heavenly! And yes, the soaps offered by both companies work well all over your body!

As someone who struggles with bad odor in just my right armpit (No idea why it's just there, but it sucks LOL, I use an Apple Cider Vinegar body wash from The Grandpa Soap Co. I tried the salicylic acid body washes and my skin is too sensitive to use them regularly, but that apple cider vinegar wash has been a Godsend!

I actually bought a period cup a few years ago after I bled through a pad (I don't use tampons for the same reason. I like that they last way longer (there are some you can cut up and compost once they're no longer sanitary to use) and I don't have to run to the bathroom every 2-4 hours to change a pad.

I don't like Lume. It's goopy and they changed the applicator without advertising it for years. It leaks so easily, and gets gross. It counts as a liquid if you're traveling, so it makes it harder to carry on. It claims to work for 72 hours but it didn't get me through an all-day once weekly woodworking class.

Yes, oils (more specifically molecular structures that simulate fats) are skin soluble. Water-based supplement products are less effective if at all on the skin. They don’t penetrate deep enough to reach the bloodstream. Even oil formulated supplements are best absorbed when you sweat.

I wear only period underwear now and it helps so much with the cramps. I also only use Lume deodorant since it’s the only one that works for me. I prefer clean tangerine out of all the scents, but I get they’re a little off putting compared to the majority of the market.

I am using lanolin on my nipples because I'm nursing, and sometimes someone is a little over eager and does a little damage. I don't know what other ingredients are in lanolips but I would still recommend single ingredient products in areas that are going onto someone's mouth.

I use Lume and I believe mine is coconut or something roasted coconut maybe. it doesn’t smell the greatest at first, but it definitely helps with body odor. I believe other brands are starting to come out with the acidified body wash and lume type deodorants as well.

Hi Tati! I’ve been using Lume for several years now. I use it under my boobs and my crotch before exercise. It helps keep the odor down for my exercise bras and underwear so that I don’t have to deodorize them with vinegar and baking soda as often.

LUME is a fabulous product. It works very well for me. Mandelic acid is the active ingredient in LUME. If you don't like the unscented version try one of the scents. The fragrance does not last a long time so it doesn't interfere with perfume.

I use Lume. I've used the armpit one, and it does have a strong scent. I prefer using it in my crotch area. PSA. do not amply any other type of deodorant where you use Lume without washing that area first. Skin irritation may occur if you do.

The lume cream deodorant made my armpits stink too! The first time I used it and I got to work and thought my coworker was stinking then I realized it was me. I had to run to dollar general and get some deodorant. the stick lume was fine though
