NEW ELF MAKEUP. What to Buy or Not?

I'm purging my (small) makeup collection in favor of nontoxic alternatives. I know the consensus seems to be that the Lush line sucks and was wondering whether you've tried 100% Pure Cosmetics. I purchased their Naked II eyeshadow palette and a lipgloss. Not having not much of a basis for comparison, I thought it was fine; just not colors that worked for me. Their return policy is wonderful - they gave me my order for free rather than having me return products. There are a few other shadows, maybe the mermaid palette, a bb cream, a primer, and the liquid lipstick I might try. There are sufficient reviews of the foundations that I feel most people can make an informed decision but so much of the line is an unknown as far as I can tell and I think it would be interesting to see someone who doesn't necessarily wear all natural makeup use and review their other products.

This was helpful. I'm just NOT into Elf makeup. Everything I've tried (minus 1 brush) has been crappy and childish. But I'm trying to watch these videos to see what works because the price IS right; -). I must tell you, I was disappointing when I realized that your makeup look was not created with the products you were testing. I saw your makeup and thought, damn her makeup looks fenomenal And she did that with Elf? Say what? let me keep watching. Then I realized you didn't. :( Can you please do a tutorial on this makeup look? Thanks for keeping us informed and entertained

I bough and tried the silicon sponge things and tbh I hate it so much for blending any kind of cream makeup, makes everything grabs to dry patches on your face and just horribly blends anything. I will say, the bigger sponge is actually really nice for applying moisturizer or like face oils if you dont want to use your hands, it feels really cooling and soothing Dont use for your makeup tho lol

The shimmer palette is actually really good if you have patience lol. Yes, it is a little oily but i apply a few dots at a time to build up the highlight on my face and blend with a beauty blender. I wouldn't recommend using a brush. it will get messy and spread everywhereeeee. BUTTTTT love, love, love your blog Tati please do more Profusion reviews Loved that video

Tati i HIGHLY recommend the shop missa wonder blender you have but in the slanted version the one thats shaped like the real techniques, i swear its 100x softer than the tear drop shape. (they have it in baby pink too for the paw paw charity)

I just bought the elf mermaid highlight duo thing and I wish I saw this video before because its so horrible when I first put it on I was like theres nothing thereso I packed it on and it just looked like I had chalk on my face
