at about 1: 19-ish where you are seen applying the shadow, you have some sort of tape on your eye at an angle. Is this a medical tape or scotch tape and I am assuming the idea is to keep the shadow from falling too far down the eye and just keeping the look clean? (I am new to watching Tati's videos so if this has been explained in past vids, sorry) So, I guess I need to ask if there is a video that shows the steps from start to finish because I am betting the tape would remove powder/foundation/concealer.

thanks for this im not too worried about the quality match up cause i know i can get some high end looks from that pallet and theres noooooo way lol i could afford to drop 50 bucks on just nude shadows. i feel like theres so many great nude cheap pallets out there its just a waste for me. now if it was some sugar pill like crazy pigmented colors that are unique then id consider dropping some major cash lol but not on nudes. thanks again for this review

i have been thinking of getting the UD palettes but seriously paying nearly 1000 pesos each (here in Mexico Sephora) makes me think I can get other stuff with my money. gonna get these from CG just so I know if these shades work for me. they look gorgeous but in my case I have hooded eyes, so lots of shimmery shadows would not be cool for me to invest that much money on the original ones. I'm having the same exact problem with my naked 2. The colors simply started to fall off the palette. It's disappointing because here in Brazil I paid R 250, 00 on it, really expensive. The product's awesome, anyway. Thank for the dupes, Tati, I'm always searching for cheaper alternatives to test out colors before I gather the money and invest in something pricy.

I bought this palette a few days ago and I am honestly in love with it. They're literally so soft, and I've never been a fan of covergirl eyeshadows until now. What's funny is that in Canada, the displays and the actual product itself doesn't say the claim shades like a leading 50 eyeshadow palette which I thought was interesting on the one you have

Tatii you SHOULD try out the Make Up Revolution line and their I heart make up line too. I don't know if you already did but that brand exists just to release dupes of famous high end products like naked palettes, lorac pro palettes, stila magnificent metals, famous mac lippies, all the too faced famous products, and so much more

Along the same lines did any of y'all see some Mary Kay reps try to compare their naked dupe pallet to the UD vault? I was cracking up bc they were saying their pallet was 100' s of dollars less than UD but were NOT pointing out that price of the UD was for the entire set that had 6 pallets, lipgloss & some other stuff in it.

I dont think doing what Covergirl did with these is stealing; I mean there's that whole speech from The Devil Wears Prada about how fashion trickles down and cheaper brands mimic the higher end brand which is totally true-I've seen so many 'knock offs' of Birkenstock shoe designs at Target from the Target brand shoes.

I love ALL these of these palettes; they are AWESOME (I have all three Urban Decay Palettes and all three Make-Up Revolutions palettes also) HIghly recommend them ALL It is great to see companies offering amazing eye shadows in all economic categories; extremely smart because Urban Decay is getting tons of free press
