I took her nails off last night so I m going to prep the nails with my E-file. I m going to remove the length with a normal file and then push back the cuticles and remove the non-living tissue with my bit.
I m doing a russian almond so I m pinching the end of the form and opening the back of the form so it s angled slightly upward for this shape. I ll dehydrate and prime and then go in with clear acrylic, coming straight out from the side wall like a square nail to number 3 and then angle upwards to create a point at number 4. I ll also pop clear on the natural nail for adhesion. I m going to cover the tip with my pink acrylic and ombre then into purple at the cuticle area. I m going to cap the whole nail in clear for strength.
I m going to file the side walls with a 120 grit file, I m then going to use an electric file for the top of the nail. I ll finish my filing off with a 180 grit hand-file. I m going to smooth it all out with a buffer and some acetone.
I m going to top coat and then finish off with Vitamin E cuticle oil Date: 2020-09-07
