I can speak from experience on the addictions point of Alex. It did cost me friendships, my relationship, 20k of debt, my health, self esteem, job, and even my house. I got homeless, did not eat and barely got any sleep. I was done with life and I was killing myself. One day I said to myself -theres two ways out of this. 1. I continue like this and I'm dead within a few months or 2. Get help and maybe get my life back-. I went to rehab, relapsed, did another treatment, relapsed and learned. I now knew I needed to work on the issues that caused me to use. Now I come such a long way, only in a year and half I've found a great job, payed back 19k so far, got a home, in a relationship again, found new friends and most importantly at the end of the day I look in the mirror and smile instead of cry. Getting help as an addict is one of the scariest things I ever did. But it was the best thing that ever happened to me as well. If you're struggling with an addiction or even just problematic use; get help because people who get the oppertunity to find help are the lucky ones!

I'm about to be 30 in a few months and I can concur with this list for sure. One thing I will say, saving money is definitely important, I would add (or even replace it with) investing though. It's good to have money for a rainy day, but just remember it's only doing just that. sitting there. collecting dust. When you put that money in the market, you're putting your money in a position where your money is making more money for you, not just collecting dust in some stingy bank that's only going to give you. 5% APY interest annually.
A little bit of money in the savings account, a little bit of money in investments.

Be careful with geologie people. I got the 30 day trial and clicked the no subscription thing because I just wanted to try it. A month later they charged me something like $200 for a 3 month supply. The supply only lasted like a month n half. It also took me almost a month to hear back and get them to cancel the subscription. Just letting you guys know. Even if you click no subscription when checking out they still sign you up and charge your card

How am I supposed to save money I'm 34 years old and disabled and can't work and don't get enough money from SSI to save it goes to Bill's and paying rent life never works out the way you think it's going to just enjoy your life as much as you can

Tbh a car is not for me just to go A to B, I love cars and building cars which takes a lot of money but what you say is true about not going above your budget, its important to plan out everything with you paycheck.
