in defense of GRETA VAN FLEET. firstly, not that it's of any importance, they're my neighbors here in Michigan. just 40 minutes from me (when they're home). I was stumped to see them on this type of content. I recall very well seeing them (having never heard of them) on SNL and thinking holy god, WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE I thought both of their performances were musically pretty freaking amazing on the show. talent, stage presence etc. Obviously, just my opinion. I found them to be super talented and very original. I met Josh in person here at our state's Renaissance Festival as well. what a nice guy

Christina Aguilera has an amazing voice. One of the most talented of our time. What happened at the superbowl was a shame and disgrace for everyone. She said she was nervous and messed up the lyrics. Even professionals get nervous. She’s sung the National Anthem 1000s of times and this one time she messed up big.
The majority of these fails just showcase lack of talent. Clear cases of autotune and lip syncing and awkward stage presence. Or drunken antics.
Christina belongs on the list but not for the common reasons. I feel so bad and cringe for her.

For the Red Hot Chili Peppers, there is at least a bit of an explanation. They played two songs and what was shown in this video was the second song being played. In the first, singer Anthony Kiedis seemed to intentionally kick guitarist John Frusciante even though John’s playing was excellent. The irony is that some people; including myself actually liked the song that John sabotaged. Instead of singing backing vocals near the end of the song, he let out a massive howl that actually sounded really good! Haha!

I felt so bad for Lana Del Rey. It was at her peak when she was huge and through no fault of her own she got trashed and a long with her career. People acted like she was a bad singer when the truth is the band was playing the song way, way to fast. She turned around trying to get their attention to do it right but just muscled through it. People put it up there with the Ashlee Simpson thing but that's crazy. You can see how uncomfortable she is trying to make her song work with that tempo.

Okay, I just had a flashback from my childhood. A reference was made in reverse. In Tiny Toons: How I Spent My Summer Vacation, someone goes to a hotel. Jay Leno is there with his enormous chin. Roseanne sings the Star-Spangled Banner and falls on top of one of the characters. I don't remember all of it, but it's nice to know that real-world references in cartoons were not an invention of Family Guy.

The thing that made me cringe the hardest was the lack of the actual musical issues being shown in favour of the ridiculously wordy explanations which basically made this nearly unwatchable. It would be nice if you could just say five words instead of 50 and leave the actual clip to show the story instead of telling the story. Again, I am hopeful it won't be this way. but it always is.

Oasis has one good song (IMO, Champagne Supernova, which would be a lot better with someone else doing the vocals, and I’m not sure that song is worth the world enduring the rest of everything the band is and has done. Just another very overrated artist full of obnoxious attitude. Most of the rest of these aren’t even worth criticizing, that’s just how lousy they are.

This is why i will forever say the vocal trinity, celine mariah whitney are the best and my favorite. even at their worst, they sounded ten times better!
They only used autotune as an instrument never as a real excuse. they would sing off the cuff, randomly in interviews or just when they felt good. They knew delivering a performance meant not screwing around

I dont care how much Milli Vanilli is dragged I will always love them, and the guys & gals who were really singing that we were denied getting to know even though they were revealed a little bit. The CD was amazing and me being a boomer, I had & still have the VHS tape, the cassette tape and the CD! May Rob forever rest in peace. Hope Fab is good!

When singers rely on auto tune in their songs played on air. They really shouldn't have concerts. I heard that when singers ask the crowd to sing along it's because they either don't remember the words or just can't sing the song. That should be very disappointing for anyone paying a lot of money to see singers live.

That Roseanne Barr incident was something her ex Tom Arnold set up and she was mortified and embarassed by it. she wanted to do a good job not make people angry. when she heard the boos she reacted with attempted humor. I felt bad for her when it happened. I could see that's not the way she expected it to go

LB killed it at 1999 Woodstock. The promoters knew what kind of band they were and what they brought. All they did was show up and play. If the promoters actually gave AF about their customers and provided a better environment, the riot wouldn't have happened, as it never happened anywhere else they played.

I never thought Britney's performance was that bad. She was going through an extremely rough time, she showed up and did her job 1000 times better than many other performers. People criticised her and many even dared to say that she was fat. I mean. fat! Calling her fat is just a sign of how sick our society is.

The lesson to learn here is that overwhelmingly polished acts with limited experience performing live, should not perform live on the big stage. Save such performances for artists that have spent a lot of their career performing live, and don't rely on auto-tune and overproduction to create their sound.

Page blames the bands bad performance on Live Aid concert to their substitute drummer who's. Phil Collins! Was such a swans move. Especially when he agreed to volunteer because he friended the band, and he wasn't the issue either. It was the whole band at that point battling one problem to another.

I will forever be grateful to Christina Aguilera. I'd had my own attempt to sing the National Anthem the day before with varied opinions afterwards, but Xtina quicky overshadowed my little local embarrassment. Trust - that song, while sacred, is cursed to virtually everyone who attempts it.

Ashlee Simpson blaming her band was a dick move. I think that if she had just owned her mistake and explained that she was lip syncing due to medical issues her music career might have survived and carried on. Throwing her band under the bus made her look like such a cow.
