I wouldnt exactly call The Last Of Us: Part 2 that much of a great revenge videogame, it’s not exactly that much satisfying considering that Abby and her friends were broken and technically had a justifiable reason on why they killed Joel, it’s not fun killing broken antagonists, Joel, Ellie and Abby were broken, the three of them neither were evil.
The game is mostly about tragedy rather than revenge.
But the original God Of War game’s, now those are great revenge game’s, cause Zeus and the other God’s were pretty horrible, so seing Kratos kill was pretty satisfying.

Yeah, I saw how the Ellie and Abby story played out and ended through cutscenes after watching the show
All I can say is that I for one, am proud of Ellie for ultimately putting an end to the cycle of vengeance through her OWN volition and conscience in letting Abby go
Personally I don’t think Abby got off scott free, as she now has to live with the fact that she owes it to the two people’s lives she effectively ruined in Joel and Ellie, for saving her life in different instances respectively

Some of the deaths and killing attempts in Ace Attorney were from vengeance.
Hell, the DL6 incident had a vengeful murder, and led to another vengeful murder 15 years later.
Also, 3 of the 4 cases in Justice for All had disastrous consequences to vengeful ambitions, and one of those 3 carried on in the finale of Trials and Tribulations.
There’s also the DLC of Dual Destinies, which also had a disastrous consequence to a vengeful ambition.

Man Having to play as the the person responsible for killing Joel Abby was such a mean decision by naughty dog it would be like having to play as Micha from Red dead redemption two and we never actually got the revenge on the one freaking person responsible just the people that tagged along lol
